Star-Crossed: The Basics

I’ve been slowly working on and adding to this AU/story for a long while, and have finally decided to make a wiki to collect and organize all the info I have if anyone is interested.

I will likely be making other sub-wikis for various characters, but they should all attach to this one when all is said and done.

The basic premise of the AU is pretty simple. I wanted to make a humanless AU with a lot of characters I’ve RP’d with or used other stories but wanted to explore in a Star Wars setting.

This AU does include races like Zeltrons and Chiss, who look human if not for their colorful natures- just nothing that you’d wonder if they are or aren’t human.

I haven’t exactly decided a time period or what events are drastically changed from the lack of humans- but this AU does take place in a time when the Jedi and the Sith both exist, and the Rule of Two does not.

Generally speaking, I like to write from an emotional, or romantic standpoint, which is why the AU is called Star-Crossed, a play on the space nature of the franchise and the idea of Star-Crossed lovers.

I’m bad at focusing on one story and not just continuously world building though- so there are a lot of characters who’s stories may or may not interact with my main couples for the AU.

This AU is also chock full of twi’leks. They’re my fav… so… hope you don’t mind that.

Ahbee Rha’Dura

Darth Aria

A twi’lek born on Nar Shadaa. Her childhood was rough, living mostly on the streets to avoid her father. Her teens were rough, as she did’t fall in with a good crowd and found her self in an emotionally abusive relationship. Her adulthood- is still rough in her sith apprenticeship. Her childhood friend is now her enemy (who she loves despite that), and that enemy is training her baby sister. Ahbee also has a rival in her apprenticehoood. She’s also a lefty.

Jedi Knight Patches O’Leary

A zeltron born on Nar Shadaa. His childhoood was also rough. But unlike Ahbee, he was taken in by the Jedi in his youth. He didn’t realize he’d be leaving Ahbee behind though. He enjoys mechanical work, and is ambidextrous. This has helped him make himself a replacement eye and, and arm when he loses his natural one. He currently is training a padawan, who he doesn’t realize at first is Ahbee’s baby sister. He is enemies, rivals, and deeply in love with Ahbee. It is very much a problem.

Padawan Livia

Rha’Dura

A twi’lek born on Nar Shadaa. The much younger sister of Ahbee. When she was a baby, Ahbee kidnapped her from their not so great father, and secretly left her at a Jedi temple. Little did Ahbee know, Livia was also force sensitive and is now a Padawan under Patches. Which is good because without help from the force she is naturally blind. She’s “secretly” fallen in love with a fellow Jedi her age.

Zinfandel

A chagrian Jedi padawan. He was not taken care of in his early youth and has issues with his growth caused by malnutrition for it. What he lacks in physical prowess he seems to generally make up for in brains and force abilities. He spends most of his time in the archives. He also has a fairly obvious crush on Livia. However the elder Jedi around him seem to think he is learning how to control himself and distance himself- so they haven’t stepped in yet.

R-47

“Rat”

R-47 or, Rat, is a very small droid made by Patches. Naming conventions were ignored for the little bot, as Patches just liked the name. This droid is small enough to stand on Patches shoulder, but is very helpful in many ways. Albeit not discrete, as color scheme wise the droid matches their zeltron creator.

Jedi Master Petmoor Thanis

“Skull”

A givin Jedi who is currently training Zinfandel. One of the few people who are completely oblivious to Zinfandel and Livia’s feelings for each other. It’s unclear if they would actually do anything about it though- as they themselves are, while ace, in a relationship themselves…

Jedi Master Dizzy

“Spider”

A Harch Jedi who is very rare to take on a padawan. They are extremely ambidextrous and have trouble training someone with a lightsaber if the can’t use multiple limbs to fight at once. Patches however, had met the 2 limb minimum requirement. Dizzy is in an ace relationship with Thanis. Those who are in the know refer to them as “Skull and Spider”

Betha

Darth Zelos

Betha is a Devaronian. It should be noted that canon and legends designs for the females of the species vary- and she, like any others I will make are a combo of the two designs. Betha is Ahbee’s padawan rival. She was their master’s first apprentice and is infuriated that a second one was taken on. It doesn’t help that the two are constantly pitted against each other, and forced to work together. Worse is she isn’t as good as Ahbee most of the time, taking her own abilities for granted.

Darth Pestil

A rare Trandoshan Sith. He is also trans. Having faced a lot of difficulties in life for these reasons, Pestil is very cunning and manipulative. Part of this is having two apprentices who fight tooth and nail against each other. Not only does it make them stronger under him, but also reduces the risk of either of them successfully trying to take him out of the picture. He does not favor either apprentice- but will pretend to keep their rivalry strong.

Rib

An uninspiredly named rib cat. Ahbee used to feed them on Nar Shadaa and now follows the twi’lek around. Generally doesn’t cause too much mischief until they see a certain droid unit, who they treat very much like their namesake.

Ame Rha’Dura

A twi’lek with plenty of flaws, especially when it comes to the way he treats people closest to him. He’s known for his anger and neglecting those in his care. He’s the man Ahbee called father, as well as being Livia’s father. After his poor treatment of Ahbee- she did not give him the chance to raise Livia.

Dax Rha’Dura

A twi’lek man with an eye for business, a hand in politics, and a foot in the less than legal business worlds. He’s a bit of a playboy- known to not be afraid of getting his hands dirty, and of how fiercely he protects his own. He’s been stepping a bit down to let his son be the face of the business and try their hand in the political game.

Ace Rha’Dura

A twi’lek man who takes after his father Dax. Occasionally he’ll share gossip or jobs with his cousin Ahbee. He lets people see him work more with the Jedi, but he has no issues working with almost any sith… almost. He also likes to model for art students.

Dal’Drax

A half Zabrack half Zeltron “Zelbrax”. Visibly his Zabrack side is far more obvious, and people don’t realize he uses his Zeltron abilities against them. He is very emotionally manipulative, and while not one of the big guns when we see him, he was certainly working on it. He is for lack of a better description, Ahbee’s abusive ex. His demise is when Ahbee fully realized she was force sensitive, and when her Sith master found her.

Vinila Enouhali

“Vee”

The center point of our web of characters on this side of the world building. Vee started off her life as a slave. She had more than one master, and eventually was freed and married a crime lord… who she seems to have replaced. She’s also a very protective mama bear to her daughters. She is generally found at the Melodic Marshmallow (which she owns and runs), where a lot of plots meet and intertwine.

Zlina Enouhali

“Zee”

Vinila’s eldest daughter. A very calm and patient woman. Despite growing up as a slave with her mother, she was very sheltered, her mother taking the brunt of anything she could. When they gained their freedom, Zlina was found to be force sensitive by a self proclaimed Revanchist who she now trains under, and has fallen for.

Ras’Voe Enouhali

“Sweet Pea”

Ras is Vinila’s youngest daughter. Unlike her elder sister she has never been a slave, and is the daughter of a Trandoshan crime lord. She is spoiled to the core, and while force sensitive, doesn’t really train it much. She does lean towards the dark side- but is too content with her life to really show any ambition with it. She adores her mother, her sister, her fiance, and her pet acklay. She also loves getting all the best gossip at the Melodic Marshmallow.

Lucy

A Zabrak with no allegiance, except to Ras. He is very strong with the dark side, but in many ways is a complete mystery. He showed up in Ras’ childhood as a small child himself, and has just stuck around ever since. While he deeply wants Ras to train more in the dark side- his protective nature over her is a big reason why she will never have to.

Misses Om-Nom

An Acklay that was given to Ras when they were both small. He (yes he, no one could convince the tiny Ras that he was he, so he is Misses) is a very loyal companion to Ras’Voe. When they were small he helped her get into all sorts of trouble, and now that he’s big he makes a fierce guardian. His favorite foods are fish.

Valdor Enouhali

Vinila’s elder brother. When the pair were very young, their original owner tried to sell him off, taking him away from his mother sister, and everyone else that he knew. His mother tried to stop it and… it didn’t go well. Valdor eventually ended up being owned by a Sith, who saw his potential and began to train him. The sith underestimated just how angry Valdor could be at anyone who would buy another though, as was slain as soon as Valdor was capable of it. He went on to slay his sister’s owner, and has only recently come back into her life with another twi’lek from their childhood. He is in poor health.

XoXo Enouhali

A twi’lek who knew Vee and Val’s mother, and who in some small part helped to take care of them when she could. Xoxo has always been stronger of mind than of body, and is very frail now-a-days for it. She spend most of her life in enslaved, and only in her elder years was finally free. Her and Valdor had met up again at this time in their life and seem to now be a fairly happy couple.. though one or both seem like they won’t live much longer. She has taken on the Enouhali clan name, because she never knew her own.

Xexxi Enouhali

Xexxi was Vee and Val’s mother. Neither has a lot of memories of her besides her singing to them and how pretty she was when she danced. When her owner tried to take her son from her- she foolishly fought back, and was killed for it. The siblings and her old friend hold her dearly in their memories though.

This character was originally a friend’s rp character who left the amino- with no way to get permission from them, the character’s details are being replaced with a new character. Giee is a nautolan artist who gets their inks for their paints from various sea creatures, and aquatic wildlife and the like- personally getting and crafting the materials herself. She met Vinila via being commissioned to do a portrait of her. They are now girlfriends. Giee does not get involved with the crime life that her S.O. does, and is often away gathering materials.

Issie is a twi’lek who owned a small time cantina. While she does dance to help entertain the clientele- she is a business woman at heart, who genuinely enjoys things like planning and math, and would much rather be in the back office than up on stage. She had a brief whirlwind romance with a Chiss who claimed to be part of the Aristocra, but who’s to say he wasn’t just trying to sound like a big shot to woo her. She is now the mother of twins, albeit she mourns that her son was stolen from her.

“Coleo”

Coleo is a half twi’lek half chiss, who while not raised among Chiss, was raised in secrecy by his father. As such his name isn’t fully what it should be, taking on his mother’s family name, and not having a last part of his name. Coleo does not know he is a twin, and not looking anything like his birth sibling, would not guess it should they meet up.

L’or ‘Niloco

A half twi’lek, half chiss raised by her mother without her twin. She is named more like a twi’lek, even if on paper it might look more Chiss. Life was stressful growing up, as her mother did not take her missing twin well. When it turned out that she was force sensitive, she ended up being taken in by the sith, leaving her mother devastated without either of her children.

Morphia

L’or’s sith mentor. They have strangely close ties with the child, as they were close with L’or’s paternal grandfather, a Jedi who had been Morphia’s mentor. However when that Jedi did not want to quite follow all the Jedi ways- and tried to push Morphia into a relationship, they dove head first into the dark side, slaying him in the process. Morphia is fairly certain that the day L’or finds this out is the day Morph is a dean. Morph is intersex, displaying both male and female twi’lek traits.
