Star-Crossed: Among Sith and Jedi

Greetings one and all! Today- I bring you a new twi’lek! But first some explanatory rambles.

So some of you may be aware I’ve been working on a human-less Star Wars AU. This is for that. Some of you may also be aware- that I often pulll characters from another one of my projects (Unseen) for this. Unseen is a… let’s call it D&D esq world. In Unseen one of my characters is this here “golden boy” Theo Onze.

As if I don’t give Ahbee enough problems- I wanted to drag her (in Unseen) unwanted fiance over. However, I did not want to make them engaged… and more so… I had two ideas…. So today you will get the twi’lek/sith idea I had, and next up you will get the nautolan/jedi version of him.

And as the last forward ramble- this is remaking old art into the new version of him, so the Timelapse is sped up before he becomes a twi’lek, and at the normal speed I post at when it’s the Star Wars half of the proof of art.

Theo, or Dieu, has a decent amount of qualities that could lead very well into being a Jedi or a Sith, today, I’ll be going over his more sith-ful side. Normally the boy is himbo-adjacent, and sadly this version of him only gets to keep the physical build for that… and some of the lack of brain cells.

Dieu has always been given “golden child” treatment. His family has wealth and power, and of course so does he. Raised a bit spoiled- but still trained hard. When his force abilities couldn’t cut it, he’d push his physical capabilities- and when those failed him, he’d push his force ones. A vicious cycle that led him not only to being many kinds of strong, but often perceived as top notch for it.

And boy does he know it. He’s proud, arrogant, and vain for it. The preferential treatment leading him to also be greedy, selfish, and confident. If he wants something- he believes full well that he will get it, either from deserving it- or by his own power.

As such, a lot comes easily to him, leaving him easily annoyed and bored… and loving a good challenge.

His family- particularly his father- has also instilled in him a strong sense of needing to continue the bloodline, more so because he is an only child himself. That being said- continuing it alone is not good enough- he needs to find a worthy partner…

There aren’t a lot of sith twi’lek, not with-in his age group that he’s been personally aquatinted with. Certainly less that are also biologically female and actually show promise in her own capabilities…. But there is one… and she’s even the sith coveted red at that…

Dieu does not go out of his way to find and spend time around Ahbee. He has plenty of his own work and schemes to attend to. However- when they do cross paths, he makes his interest in her very clear. Just as clear, in fact, as she makes her disinterest. Unfortunately for Ahbee, Dieu only sees that as a challenge.

Ahbee has previously accused him of only wanting to get close to her to kill her (she’s not a very trusting soul), and he’s joked back “Not until you’ve at least given me three heirs, little song bird.” So she knows full well at this point how he feels, and how useful she’d ever be to him. Which means she also knows that if desperate measures call for it- she can probably squeeze a favor or two out of him. Especially if it came to her survival.

Dieu is not the best at reading people though. Being praised his whole life, he doesn’t understand the concept of people disliking him, not wanting his favor, or the like. So he find Ahbee, and her insults, quite charming, and a fun refreshing game.

And that’s what I’ve got for Dieu so far. I hope you like him. I enjoyed drawing him and seeing his worst traits amplify under living as a sith. Soon, ya’ll get to see the Jedi version of him, and how that amplifies his other traits. And of course, as always:
