Star-Crossed: Among Sith and Jedi

Greetings one and all! Today I bring, what probably comes as no surprise- more art. XD

As per usual, not Star Wars part of art is the faster time lapse, and the Star Wars part is the regular speed one.

For those of you who have been following along- yes, I have been struggling a bit with fresh poses lately and I am still reusing old ones. In fact, this time, I’ve reused a reused pose.

For the original WIP to the traditional image- feel free to check out this old blog. The original piece was a twi’lek oc of mine named Zlina. I adore her, and will eventually make more art of her… when I’m focusing on the Melodic Marshmallow side of the AU.

When I originally reused the pose, I used it to make Olma Dosk. A character from my Unseen project. In that universe, she is part of Theo(Dieu/Onze)’s crew. She’s the daughter of the highest ranking law officer of the city that the royals live in. Not part of the royal’s guard though. But high enough in rank to know Theo.

In that world, and well… as well as this AU- she likes Theo/Dieu. I’m probably going to make another version of her that likes Onze too.

In Star-Crossed I’m aiming for her to be a bounty-hunter/ pilot. I have plans to translate the whole crew… twice… into this story. Or well, world. I don’t intend on focusing on them much.. but when I write I like to world build… a lot…. And that often makes new characters and new stories that I didn’t expect to get out of it.

Anyways, Olma here (this one is getting to keep the first name) is a PureBlood sith. She’s a very proud soul because of that. However…. Many of her kind look down on her… because she’s not force sensitive- or at least not enough so to really will anything out of the force.

When Dieu needs to gather a group for mission work, help tracking someone down, or just a pilot, Olma and crew are who he calls first. He puts a lot of value into his loyal minions. … but he does view them as minions… which is unfortunate for Olma- whose pride is actually very aggravated by that.

On top of that- while she likes Dieu, and is impressed by his power… he doesn’t see her as a potential romantic partner because of her lack of force sensitivity… plus he already has eyes for Ahbee…..

Olma hates this. A lot. Every thing about this whole set up. She has hopes though that one day he will come to see reason, and be done chasing after that lowly twi’lek. After all- powers or no- Olma is a true sith….

Olma is generally a character who is very grumpy but is very fun to write. She’s generally what I’d consider “lawful” but…. Her view of lawful is generally skewed to believing things are okay if done by some people and not okay if done by others- always tilting in her favor.

She’s also a bit of a brute. Her lacking force powers doesn’t mean she’s weak- not by a long shot- and she is quick to remind people of that fact.
