The rules I follow:

:eight_pointed_black_star: The first born child of the current heir is the heir for the following generation regardless of gender. In case of twins (e.g Pink Generation) the heir is chosen randomly by me.

:eight_pointed_black_star: Unless otherwise stated (e.g Orange Generation) the heir's family is only allowed a max of two pregnancies. They may adopt other children.

:eight_pointed_black_star: The next heir must be born in the Young Adult stage of the current heir's life.

:eight_pointed_black_star: The heir's life partner must be at least perceived as attractive.
