Not so Berry - Mint Gen in a nutshell

This is Michaela, the founder of my new Not So Berry legacy! This is one of the first pictures I took of her in the lab.

As the challenge rules require she is Jealous, Vegetarian and Materialistic.

She met her wife Monty by chance as she looked for friends to prank. They were immediately attracted by each other and got in a relationship quite quickly.

Monty immediately told her that she was born in the wrong body and was trying to get a gender reassignment procedure because she wanted to hide nothing to her.

Monty worked as a lawyer, but aspired to become a judge.

It wasn't long before Michaela got pregnant with their first child and she thought that it was the right time to tie the knot with her girlfriend. Monty accepted, but only if they could wait until after her surgery, which was fine by Michaela.

It wasn't long before their daughter was born! They called her Rouge, a name that they both liked. The little girl grew up to be quite an independent little rascal and didn't like to be helped doing anything.

Monty and Michaela liked to play chess. They were both quite clever and their matches were always toe to toe. They tried to teach Rouge too, but she didn't seem interested.

Michaela got pregnant again not long after Rouge's birth. Unlike Rouge, this baby was actually planned because they wanted to give her a sibling. Rouge was not happy to know that someone else would he stealing her spotlight.

Micha and Monty were hoping to have a baby boy, but they had another girl instead. They chose the name Pandora, suggested by Michaela's best friend. This little one inherited Monty's brown hair.

Michaela completed the element collection shortly after Pandora's birth! It took her quite long and she had to find (and clone) quite a lot of gems, but all her hard work finally paid off! She proudly put the collection on display in their living room.

Then came the time for the brides to tie the knot. They had a private backyard wedding with Pandora and Rouge as the only spectators because they were a bit low on money after Monty's surgery, but it was a memorable and breath taking moment nonetheless.

Michaela's subsequent kidnapping by the hands of the aliens was even more memorable. She came back really excited from seeing them so close. She described them as "colorful humanoids with strange mechanical clothes".

Fast forward to Rouge's birthday! She got the "Happy Toddler" trait from having reached level 3 in all skills (to be fair she was only missing one level in thinking but oh well) and the Hot-headed traits. It happened on Winterfest too, so she got double presents.

Michaela invented a wormhole generator and she got a promotion for it! She had to calibrate it quite a few times before it started working, but in the end it allowed her to communicate with Sixamnians.

It was her birthday not long after, and Pandora's too. And Monty was promoted to judge.

The newly nominated judge wanted to have a memory of this wonderful period, so she called a photographer over to snap them a family picture, that was then promptly hung in their living room.

Oh, and they got a cat too. Her name is Burger.

Before they realized what was happening, it was Rouge's birthday again. She turned into a cute romantic teen! And she already had someone in mind: one of her childhood friends, Neil.

The family also moved into a bigger house so that Michaela could have her own lab.

Rouge asked Neil out and it went very well! He was actually quite interested in her as well, so they got in a relationship. But it didn't take long for Rouge to start feeling bothered from the level of commitment that this kind of situation required, and she started feeling oppressed by him. But that's a story for another day.

Michaela finally reached her life long goals of becoming a renowned scientist, and just as she was getting too old. She thought about retiring as soon as possible for a moment, but then decided against it. Rouge and Pandora were almost old enough to have a family of their own and she wanted to drown her grandchildren in presents.

Rouge finally aged up and the family took a last portrait to hang in their bedroom. Pandora dyed her hair lilac for the occasion too!

The Mint queen left the spotlight, only for the Rose queen to take her place. But again, that's a story for another day.
