Not so berry - Rose Gen in a nutshell

Rouge Berry, first daughter of Michaela Berry and Monty Halloway, always knew she had a way with people. Be it homework, toys or favors, the girl had her way with words and knew exactly how to make you give her whatever she wanted.

Which is why, upon becoming a young adult, she entered the world of politics.

Her traits are Snob, Hot-headed and romantic.

So, a politician with a bright future by day.

What was Rouge Berry like by night?

A stereotypical young adult with a side of commitment issues.

Despite still being in a relationship with her highschool sweetheart Neil, young Rouge never failed to leave an impression on everyone she met and it was just so easy to woo them into her arms.

She couldn't bring herself to leave Neil. Having affairs outside of her "official" relationship was a thrill that she didn't want to give up, no matter what it took. He was the first to take her to bed, but there were many others after him.

It wasn't long before this kind of lifestyle had consequences: she found out that she was pregnant with Neil's baby. She didn't enjoy the thought of having to give her freedom up, but a part of her still was very excited to welcome this baby into the world.

Her work schedule often brought her to the rident San Myshuno, who was very different from Rouge's native town, Strangerville: bustling, noisy and full of people, this metropolis was definitely her cup of tea. She would definitely love to move there, but she didn't have enough money quite yet.

However, she met an interesting character going by the name of Psaro during one of her campaigns and they hit it off very well.

The Berry family soon welcomed a new addition: a little girl who was named Yasmin. Because Rouge spent most of her time away from home, it was up to Monty and Michaela to take care of the baby.

Monty retired from her position as judge so that she could spend more time with her granddaughter and soon Michaela followed.

The more time ed, the more promotions Rouge got and the more she stayed away from home. Little Yasmin spent her free time playing with grandma, who taught her everything she needed to know. All of Michaela's friends jokingly called baby Yasmin a top-notch toddler.

Neil, who was deeply enamoured with his girlfriend, took her out for a stroll one day and proposed to her.

A shocked and pleased Rouge accepted to marry him and the two families began preparations.

Rouge bought a dress, a veil, chose the location, hired a caterer and bought Yasmin a dress before beginning to actually think about this situation.

Was she actually ready to get married? To give up her freedom for good? What would happen if Neil found her cheating? Would she be left with nothing?

These thoughts haunted her until the day of the marriage, even as she walked up the aisle.

As she stood in front of Neil, the eyes of everyone on her, waiting for her "I do", Rouge took a deep breath and said that no, she didn't. She wasn't ready and doubted she would ever be.

Then ran, the screams of everyone behind herself.

She found shelter in a café in the near Brindelton Bay, where customers watched her order a drink in her wedding dress. She told the tale of how she escaped from her marriage to a shocked crowd and even managed to make a conquest on the way out.

She never heard from Neil again after leaving him at the altar.

Monty died just as little Yasmin began elementary school and Michaela followed her a year after. It was a shock for little Yasmin, whose only friends were her grandmothers and who was a bit of a loner. She spent her days moping and crying and Rouge couldn't bear to see her like that, but at the same time she didn't know what to do either.

The atmosphere soon became insufferable in the old house and Rouge had saved enough money to move into a place of her own, so her and Yasmin left the rural atmosphere of Strangerville for a flat in the bustling San Myshuno, and took a family photo to celebrate.

Being away from the house where her grandmothers had died made Yasmin feel a little bit better.

Rouge hung the photos of her romantic conquests in her bedroom. It was a bit weird maybe, but it also made her feel powerful. All those people had fallen for her like nothing and, with one exception, she didn't even their names.

The one exception was Psaro. They had hit it off so well that she just wanted to keep seeing him. She actually thought that maybe she didn't want to marry Neil because she had feelings for Psaro, but discarded the thought. He was young and handsome and she was probably just lusting over him.

On a side note, Pandora got married! She met a surgeon named Demetrius shortly after Rouge's failed marriage and they tied the knot after a two years long relationship. Both him and her weren't fond of children and so they decided to have none.

Rouge's job often required her to do some weird tasks. The weirdest she ever did was to paint a political graffiti and then share it on her social medias. She had quite a lot of fun doing it and it got her a promotion too!

Rouge soon found out that wooing people into her arms also meant gaining their votes and so she stopped disdaining women, despite being straight. They were all mere tools to her, she didn't even care at the time. What mattered the most was that they would all be rooting for her.

Her becoming powerful enough to run for the presidentials at such a young age was truly a marvel to many.

Speaking of age, time ed quickly and both her and Yasmin got older. The girl was a loner and only as she grew up Rouge realized how clumsy she was becoming. She was, however, also very clever and handy and quickly took fixing their apartment's problems into her own hands.

To celebrate her run to the presidentials (and in hope that Yasmin would make some friends) Rouge booked a vacation to the beautiful skiing location of Mt.Komorebi.

The towns surrounding Mt.Komorebi were home to many of Rouge's proudest fans and her political campaign went very smoothly.

On the other hand, Yasmin met a local boy named Kiyoshi Ito and they grew closer quickly, until a strong spark was born between them.

He stole Yasmin's first kiss and they promised to see each other again once they would both be old enough to live on their own.

Rouge was very delighted to find out that her daughter had got a boyfriend.

One of Yasmin's hobbies was woodworking. She had a knack for it and Rouge enjoyed displaying her daughter's creations in their living room for everyone to see.

Finally, after her immense hard work and dedication, Rouge won the presidentials.

She was head of her party, had so much charisma that people all over the world imitated her style, she had had many different relationships... Then why did she still feel like she missed something?

It took her a bit to figure out that what she missed was Psaro. They had been talking and seeing each other for a while and Rouge now knew that she was finally ready to make it official.

It was a beautiful night with a full moon when Psaro proposed to her. Rouge accepted, but because they wanted to enjoy their life together they kept postponing the ceremony over and over again and booking vacation after vacation: Psaro worked as a mixologist and was quite well known, so he travelled wherever for his job and Rouge followed him.

Eventually the date was chosen, the location was picked and the dress... Well, that stayed the same because Psaro liked it. And Rouge Berry, who was growing older, finally married the man that would stay by her side forever and settled down for good.

By the time her mother got married, little Yasmin already had a family of her own! But this is a story for another day.
