Nature’s Bounties

A Fairy sat on top of a throne made of stone. It was covered in vines as they drank from a large pitcher of wine glass by glass, the wine was as black as oblivion. Bodies surrounded them, humans, fairies, Demons, all who came in their domain.

A young woman came into the domain but something was different about her, they felt it.

The woman met the Fairy. She was dressed in a dress that showed her curves, a black miasma acting like cloth. Her hair was a deep black, framing her deep red eyes and pale skin. A large Demon Mark showing on her forehead in the shape of a crown of warped bones. Her lips were as red as blood, the only bright things about her

“Another in my territory. Leave now,” they glared daggers at her.

“I didn’t send a Commandment here. You’re wasting perfectly good wine,” she sighed as she stepped closer, a few feet from them.

“Then you choose to die,” vines wrapped around the ankles but it didn’t seem to stop her as she kept walking

“You are the infamous witch in the woods. How about this: you stop killing my men, especially Wrath and Emilia the Piety and we won’t have a problem,” she smiled as the mark grew larger.

“They went on my property,” they tried to even hit her with vines and barbed plants but none landed.

“I suggest you run,” she smiled like a predator hunting prey.

They tried everything and failed to even scratch her, “what are you?”

“The Devil,” she punched them hard in the stomach and head, snapping bone like toothpicks.

They were thrown against the throne, breaking it in half. They were vomiting and gushing blood from their nose.

“The wicked witch of the woods, taken out by a simple Demon. How sad. I thought you would be tougher coming from the fairy race. You are known for your nature magic, but you have strayed far from the crown, Queen.”

“How do you know who I am?” She managed to say.

“Simple, your demeanor and your right hand. Those rings are extremely rare on this planet and you have seven of them.”

“How do you know I didn’t steal them?”

“After your partner was killed, you went mad with grief so you asked a simple question: do mortals deserve the gifts of nature? Do mortals deserve what the planet gives them?”
