Rachel thought the creature would go towards the tall fake tree but it didn’t, walking right past it and heading down the hall towards Keith’s room.
The monster creeped into Keith’s room with no sound. Rachel tried to scream as loud as she could but nothing came out. As she was about to say anything, screams filled the room along with laughter. Krampus came out alone, his nose seemed shorter and his face more deformed.
She ran up the stairs to her parent’s room and slammed onto the door with all her weight but no answer came. She could hear the heavy hooves come up the stairs on every step and laughter came from the monster, almost like he was enjoying the hunt. He wasn’t doing this for any noble reason but for fun and the thrill, punishment was just a plus.
When no one answered she ran to the laundry room, the monster following, and went down the laundry chute so she could get downstairs without getting caught. He growled and started to rampage in the laundry room, looking for her. She started the hot coco machine and slowly went to the twin’s room. The room was trashed on Keith’s side and there was blood on the wall. She only felt dread as she went back to the kitchen and filled a large coffee pitcher with scolding hot hot coco.
She slowly crept towards the living room and someone was watching them. She couldn’t see anything in the night and couldn’t find a light switch, the small amount of light coming from the lights. A large outline was barely noticeable, a moving mass of fur like a large spider. It was on the ceiling looking down at her, his arms bent in unnatural ways that almost made her cringe at how painful it looked. He smiled so big and his golden colored teeth showed as she stood her ground.
He took out his fingers from the ceiling and landed in front of her with a loud crash, mere inches away from his prey. She threw the entire pitcher of coco onto his face, making the creature scream in agony, convulsing and shaking. He put his hands on his face as it began to blister and peel, blood and flesh melting to reveal his skull with the eyes still in its sockets. She was sure she killed him.
Until he started to laugh like a maniac, slowly getting up and his face healed slowly. His face was more animalistic with goat features but there was some human features left over. She ran behind the large tree and he followed, walking towards it. She pushed it with all her strength and it tipped over, falling onto the creature.
She ran upstairs and tried the same tactic, trying to wake her parents up but nothing worked. The creature got up and walked towards her. She ran into the spare room and opened the safe in the closet. Inside was $1500 cash and a 1911 pistol with a full mag. She grabbed the gun and pointed it at the creature, firing off all seven rounds. All of them hit and the creature didn’t flinch, instead it laughed.
She ran, trying to reach the front door but something long, tight, and wet wrapped around her leg. The creature’s tongue was around her ankle, pulling her closer and closer.
She struggled and landed two kicks onto the creature, making his tongue loosen enough for her to get out. She didn’t make it far as the creature caught and threw her into a wall, knocking the wind out of her.
That gave him just enough time to pick her up and throw her into the basket. The inside was bigger than the outside, a mountain of kids. There were easily thousands of children. Nothing but crying and screaming could be heard from the inside as some of the children were alive and making twisted toys like a basketball made out of the flesh of a kid or a doll made from a kid’s body parts.
