i have a feeling

that rests somewhere

deep in my heart and

in between the coordinates

of Polaris and the moon

it's a bittersweet feeling

of the moment of nostalgia

when both memories and

dreams fill into the void

of my wandering soul

and i wish for you to

grace my world a little

more than the few drops

that Atacama's arid deserts wish for

in summer's dry spells

and the warmth that the skies

of Antarctica still yearn for

through the endless winters

even in autumn's rains

i remain parched

of the kindness

you have spoilt me with

just as i, a creature of darkness

doesn't deserve spring

i can still not figure out

the equation behind you

always hydrating my will

to continue living

you have now become

my favourite feeling,

my favourite place,

my favourite season,

my favorite memory

and my only dream.
