What are the strongest options for bicycle racks/carriers for a car without a receiver hitch? I’ve got a hub motor eBike I need to haul back and forth and want to know the best options for that. Obviously it’s a good deal heavier than a typical bicycle, and whenever the battery is off of it for transport that weight is entirely at the rear of the bicycle which makes it incredibly unbalanced. It’s going on the back of a Pontiac G6. In the past I’ve always just thrown it in the back seat which is a PITA (car is a 2 door) but I wasn’t doing it very often so it worked. However my needs have changed and for the bike to be of any use I’ll have to haul it almost daily and the back seat isnt practical for that.

Reading about this online it sounds like I need to either A. Get a receiver hitch B. Get a truck or C. Quit being lazy and just pedal the damn bike. Probably gonna have to go with option C I can’t bring myself to put a receiver hitch on the car

If the convertible top still worked this would be so much easier lol. Just drop the top and toss it over the side and into the back seat. Used to ride around with fishing poles sticking out the back whenever my trucks were down.
