I have a 2013 420 Rancher. Correct me if I’m wrong but the fuel line on these bikes has some form of rigid liner on the inside of a rubber line. I broke the fitting on the end going to the injector cap. I need a new injector cap but I think I may have broken the fuel line itself assuming that it is rigid all the way to the pump. I’m thinking just cut it and clear some of the rubber off and run a rubber line to the cap. I have way more experience dealing with carbs vs EFI but I do know that typical rubber line is not considered safe for most EFI systems. My question is if the rancher has enough fuel pressure for that to be a problem. I’m having a hard time finding info online and the parts guy at the local Honda shop has no business working a parts counter so asking there would do more harm than good.

If the line needs replaced regardless, then I'd dissect the fuel line and see if it has a liner. I've never heard of a hard lined fuel lined, but that doesnt mean it isnt possible.
Only reason I don’t just replace it is that it’s a pain to get to, I can see part of the piece running to the injector cap but that’s it and it feels rigid but can’t feel the whole thing

Its possible it's just gotten hard from age. Rubber doesnt hold up as well as it used to
