Someone’s wanting me to fix their prairie 300. He’s saying it’s acting like the reverse limiter doesn’t cut off regardless of direction and from what I’m reading that sounds like it’s in limp mode. From what I understand the first thing to do is a reset on something I can’t the details but I’m not sure where to go from there. Anyone on here dealt with similar problems? I’ve read of several similar sounding problems that all end up having different solutions so I’m trying to get an idea of where to go if the reset doesn’t work. I’ve never touched a prairie or anything with a CVT for that matter. Has a Chinese carburetor on it and that probably isn’t helping anything either.

The yamaha warriors were known to have faulty reverse limiters. Different brand and different style of bike, but it could be as simple as a faulty limiter
Yeah I was thinking bying the limiter would be the next step
