America
So for America we of course have Easter surrounded by food. We dye eggs and if we're too lazy to do that we just buy plastic ones. The kids are told myths about the Easter bunny. While were sleeping he'll come and hide eggs. Kids get candy and sweets. And we have Easter ham (weird I know) the kids absolutely love it. What kid doesn't love adventure? Kids absolutely love to hunt for eggs and they get a reward.
Some even compete with other children and whoever gets the most amount of eggs gets a prize. Here is the religious portion of it. Jesus died for our sins and he rose 3 days later. That's why we call the Friday before Easter good friday. And that Sunday is Easter which is when he rose again. The Easter bunny is something that was created by people who wanted something for the children and dating back in time pagans used to celebrate a goddess of fertility named Eostre. Fertility is actually a trait rabbits are most famous for. Eggs are a symbol of life. As we all came from an egg :sunglasses: and Jesus came back to life.
The many Easter traditions in America are Sunday mass and some churches even host an Easter Egg hunt for the kids. Easter baskets. Easter egg hunts. Easter bunny. Boiling and Dying eggs. Lots and lots of Easter themed candy.

What I do/did for Easter
For my Easter traditions as a kid I would always have two Easter egg hunts. One at home and one at my grandma's. Easter was a day of dres and eating a bunch of food. My family isn't very religious so we never went to Sunday mass. We dyed eggs on Friday night and it took several hours because we had to boil the eggs and then dye them. We always have ham on Easter as well.

Now for 's Easter traditions. First off Western is where the Easter Bunny first Originated. The origin story lies in with the fertility festival of the pagan goddess Eostre, whose Spirit animal was a rabbit. is also responsible for the first edible bunnies. Which started sometime in the 18th century. Now for the traditions. Bonfires. As Easter nears and Lent comes to an end a German tradition to light a great bonfire on Easter Sunday. It's a symbol of removing the cold and darkness with the resurrection of Christ and go into spring. This tradition varies in the different parts of .
Easter trees is another. A bouquet of budding fruit trees in a vase gets eggs hung onto it with the eggs being delicately painted to decorate the tree. And as Easter comes up the little trees blossom and give it a natural backdrop look to the ornaments/eggs.

Nuri's Easter Tradition
For Easter Nuri would seek for whatever his parents hid when he was younger. It was usually chocolate or sweets. He then later in the day eats brunch and spends time with family. Although he isn't celebrating it this year due to just getting back from holiday. It's still a tradition of his.

The UK
In the UK the Easter holidays start on Thursday instead of Friday as other countries do. Thursday is Holy Thursday. It the thirteenth century it was where the royal family would distribute money and gifts. Giving to the poor and washing their feet. But that was discontinued in the 18th century. Now they give money food and clothes. Friday is good Friday and they celebrate it with hot cross buns. Hot cross buns are a spicy currant or raise studded yeast bun, topped with a cross of lemon flavoured icing.
Sunday is Easter day. Easter eggs are important here as well. They symbolize rebirth and people would decorate them using a variation of colours using different techniques. Children believe that the Easter Rabbit hides the eggs in the garden. Even King Edward I of England made the practice of Coloured eggs more famous. He ordered 450 eggs to be coloured for Easter gifts in 1290
People would bring home a container of Easter Water to be used at home for Family blessings for whatever use they wanted. A traditional food is Roast Lamb for dinner on Easter day.

Serbia
Like other Eastern European Countries is a holiday with customs, ritual, color, and special dishes. Serbian who celebrate Easter generally follow the Orthodox Religious Calendar. Good Friday and Egg decorating. Customarily eggs are dyed on good Friday before Easter as in Easter in Bulgaria. The red egg holds special importance as a symbol of the holiday signifying the blood of christ.
As a result the first egg eyed should be red in color. A red egg is often kept throughout the year. Possibly near the household icon. To protect the household until it can be replaced the following Easter. Easter Saturday is a day for purifying the home by cleaning and tidying up. Also is a day for cooking in preparation for the Easter Feast. Also a day where egg competitions are held to determine who produced the most beautiful eggs of the season.
They are to be ired the next day because they'll be cracked and eaten the next day. Easter Sunday is when families attend church and gather for a meal. It's also the day when the game of egg-tapping is played between siblings or an egg us held by each player and they tap their egg against their opponent and the egg that remains intact us the winner. The winning egg is given special honors.
