Hello Friends it's me Gvlden! I know I’ve been away for a while. I simply needed a little time offline. Here I am though, back with another Chapter to my story. “The Toxic Friend” I really hope you all enjoy it ^^ I did work really hard on it even trying to improve my writing style so it's more enjoyable and my story telling. I even have more ideas on new stories I'd like to tell…but we will just have to wait and see on that one ;) in other news since I’ve been away for a while i have a lot more to see on the timeline and I can’t wait to see what you all have been up too! Chapter 3: A Lover Scorned

”Oh look, Jumin Han did show up” Jaehee spoke up as the girls made their way over to the friend group. “I guess so,” Anya says, subconsciously grabbing her arms. Observing the scene, Jumin had been kicked back on one of the pool chairs, his blue floral shirt completely unbuttoned as he wore a pair of khaki shorts. Beside him was Zen, Seven and Yoosung who looked to be trying to hold a very serious conversation with him but he looked rather annoyed trying to indulge in his magazine.

Upon getting closer the girls were able to pick up on a bit of the conversation which wasn’t hard at all with a yelling Seven. “I can’t believe it! How could you just give up the crown like that when it’s practically yours!”. He would yell before nudging Zen to back him up on his rant. Zen and Seven now took turns badgering a rather annoyed looking Jumin Han, only for all of them to be met with a glare of fury as he sat up in his seat. “Could you all just drop it already!” Jumin snapped. “You’re all being ridiculous and it's seriously starting to tick me off, so drop it!.” The still seemingly fired up Seven would in fact not let it go, and with a dramatic eye roll he would press further. “You’re practically giving your crown away that you’ve had for years and were the ones being ridiculous”. He would state flatly in a rather blunt sounding tone.

Slowly Jumin’s glare found its way to Seven who had raised his hands and shrugged. “Whatever you say”. Looking up as the girls approached Zen gave them a faint smile and greeting but he just sunk back into his pool chair in defeat. “Hey guys, welcome back.”

”Thank you Zen, Jumin Han, glad to see you could make it” Jaehee greeted sweetly. Looking up from his magazine, Jumin gave Jaehee a light nod. “Jaehee…Anya” Before he went back to reading his magazine. Anya couldn’t help but feel the tension surrounding her name when Jumin spoke.

But before she could dwell on it Seven had spoken up. “Don’t greet this coward”. Jaehee gave a confused expression. “Coward?” She questioned. “Yeah, Seven thinks Jumin Han is being a coward, backing out of the running for Prom King this year.” Yoosung says with a shrug.

“What, how come?” The curious brunette haired girl would ask, her voice laced with a level of concern that met her golden eyes. Anya on the other hand felt like she was going to be sick. The grip she had on her arms would now move lower and tighten around her sides. Trying to suppress the urge to vomit right then and there. Gulping back the hot bile that threatened to spill from her mouth trying her best not to focus on his piercing hot gaze that she could feel burning holes through her flesh.

Instead she tried her best to follow the banter between Seven and Yoosung now. “Oh yeah, and what do you think of it Yoosung. Because, if my memory serves me right, you were a part of this too. Oh Jumin Han please! You can’t fall out now! Then Seven will try to run! He’s gonna ruin everything! Please oh please!” Seven yelled dramatically, Making his voice as high pitched as possible causing Zen to crack a smile with Jaehee. Yoosung on the other hand didn’t find it funny at all.

”Well it’s true, If he doesn’t run that just leaves you. I don’t wanna run and i'm sure Zen doesn’t want to”.The blond haired boy would look to Zen for his agreement but would only be met with a shrug before he completely averted his gaze. “Well before we jump to these conclusions and start…pointing fingers to a new potential prom king. Have you guys asked Jumin why he doesn’t want to run? And maybe start brainstorming from there…I don’t think arguing or shouting your points and criticisms will help in the matter.”

The boy's banter had fallen silent once Jaehee had spoken up. Zen, now giving her a soft and caring smile that had met his gleaming ruby eyes, spoke first. “Well Jaehee, you sure have a way with words…but we’ve tried that approach already. Well some of us” He would give Seven a pointed look that was met with a subtle eye roll. “Yeah and? The soft approach wasn’t working on him. The truth is, he’s a stubborn idiot and the only thing he would tell us is that we're being ridiculous and to drop it!”

”That's because you are!” Jumin Han would yell. His intense brown glare lingering on Seven specifically who just wore a look of shock like everyone else had. “You wanna know why I don't want to run for prom king anymore?” He asked, his voice low and a bit intimidating, as if he were daring any of them to ask him again, tempting them almost as he looked each of them in their eyes before he stopped on Anya. She would clench her freshly french tipped manicured nails into the soft pink flesh of her palms.

Her deep hazel eyes glazed over with tears of fear that she would not dare let fall. “I'm just sick and tired of old things…whatever” Jumin had gotten up throwing his magazine in the pool chairs before storming off brushing past a frozen Anya. The quick and subtle made her eyes burn with tears.

Instead of crying and unleashing the burning scream and cry’s that threaten to unleash from within her. She swallowed it, Forcing a smile she would ask her group of friends.

”Well let's move on to something better shall we. Who’s going to be the new prom King?”

Hi friends, if you’ve made it this far, I just want to say thank you! And I hope the story was enjoyable. I wanted to start a new little segment within these chapters where I just ask questions and you my loves can answer in the comments. But before that I just want to say thank you again, it's been a while since I’ve written like this, and its been really fun to share with you all. So for questions I’ll start with the main one.
