ACT 01

3. What personality traits and background would make a character suitable for the role of a Shadow Hokage?

For me, for someone to fulfill a good role as Shadow Hokage, it's not enough to be strong; they have to be very agile in the shadows.

Because we're talking about someone who truly doesn't need applause or recognition, who doesn't seek to be in the spotlight like Naruto, but rather moves behind the scenes, in secret, making difficult decisions to protect everyone, even if it means bearing the world's hatred or contempt, sadly.

1. They have to be brave to the core, beyond belief.

2. They can't hesitate when things get ugly, with due courage.

3. They have to have absolute loyalty to their village, even if that leads them to commit acts that have consequences.

4. They're someone who does the dirty work in the shadows.

5. They also have to have a brilliant, strategic, and quick mind.

6. Have a heart, one that understands the pain of others, because his past is surely dark, filled with wounds, betrayals, or losses that made him stronger and wiser.

He's known to know the darkness, but he chooses to use it to protect. Or like Danzō, who, though controversial, truly believed he did everything for Konoha.

He's that character who gives up everything for the greater good, even his humanity if necessary. It seems to me they're looking for someone broken, strong, loyal, and ruthlessly fair. Someone who isn't afraid of being hated if it means protecting his village from the shadows.

ACT 02

Hokage: A report from your people arrived. Is it true that there's a group within Konoha plotting against the alliance with the Mist Village?

Shadow Hokage: Yes, and it's not a rumor, or so I think. We already intercepted an attempted sabotage at a diplomatic meeting. I still don't know what we're up against, you know.

Hokage: That's treason. I can't allow a group within the village to destroy everything that cost so many lives to achieve.

Shadow Hokage: Then you need to make a difficult decision, you know. I know it's complicated. I can eliminate them before they act again, without anyone knowing. But I need your permission. This isn't something that can be made public.

Hokage: I can't authorize murders within my own village, you know. I don't care how justified it seems. If we act like them, what do we become?

Shadow Hokage: In leadership, you represent hope; I represent the boundary between that hope and chaos. Sometimes protecting peace requires decisions the Hokage can't afford to make. That's why I exist and why I help with that.

Hogake: And that's why it hurts me more because I know you'll do what's necessary even if it destroys you inside. But if there's no other option, stop them. Don't let a single child or more people suffer for their mistakes.

Shadow Hokage: Understood. Don't expect gratitude. Only silence. No one will know what happened. And that will be our victory.

Hokage: Or our condemnation... but if someone must bear that weight, it's better for us. Thank you, Sai.
