Chat Names & Appearance

➤ Titles can be off-topic

but should be appropriate and in English

➤ Cover images can be aesthetic

and don't need to be anime-related

➤ Avoid vague chat titles like:

"bored," "whatever," "idc," or "idk"

➤ No "18+" in titles due to

inappropriate connotations

➤ TIP: Save a direct link to your chat after creation

to help with re-enabling if it gets disabled

Chat Descriptions

Chat Rules Guidelines

All chats must have a minimum of 5 meaningful rules. You can either use our template or create your own rules.

We offer this template as a suggestion for your chat description:

➤ Please be respectful to everyone in the chat and follow the guidelines set by the chat organizer and co-host(s).

➤ Anyone violating the [guidelines] in chats will be kicked immediately.

➤ Chat organizer and co-host(s) have the right to kick out potential troublemakers to keep their chat safe. Please be respectful toward their decision.

➤ All public chats are English only. s speaking or chatting in other languages will be kicked immediately.

➤ Please be aware this is the internet and be more careful of the content you share online. Do not share your private information, which you might regret afterward.

➤ Please keep everything you send PG-13. There are underage s here also trying to enjoy this app, so please be the mature adult and consider your actions.

➤ No spamming – this also includes chain messages.

➤ No coin begging and advertising.

𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗢𝘄𝗻 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀: If you choose not to use our template, you must still include at least 5 meaningful rules. We recommend including essential policies (be respectful, PG-13 content, English only) and should be purposeful – not vague or trivial. ! Meaningful rules clearly explain expectations and help maintain a safe, postive chat environment.

Host Responsibilities

As a chat host or co-host, you are responsible for:

:ballot_box_with_check: Selecting reliable co-hosts to help moderate

:ballot_box_with_check: Creating a positive, welcoming atmosphere

Hosts may remove s who:

:black_small_square: Potential troublemakers

:black_small_square: Are disrespectful to others

Hosts may not remove s:

:black_small_square: Based on discrimination (race, gender, orientation, etc.)

:black_small_square: For trolling purposes (repeatedly inviting/kicking)

Age-Restricted Chats

:black_small_square: Age restrictions are allowed if appropriate

:black_small_square: Hosts cannot force s to reveal their age

:black_small_square: Hosts may remove s they

believe are under the age limit

:black_small_square: "18+" cannot be used in title, announcement

or description due to inappropriate implications

Roleplay Chat Requirements

:black_small_square: Must be based on a specific anime/manga series

(e.g., "Attack on Titan RP")

:black_small_square: Cannot specify sexual orientation

(no "yaoi RP," "straight RP," etc.)

:black_small_square: No discussions of torture, mating, force-mating, slave/master, or abuse

:black_small_square: Generic RPs like "Anime RP," "Neko RP," or

"High School RP" are not allowed

:black_small_square: The RP must actually follow the

anime mentioned in the title

:black_small_square: Source material cannot contain

pornographic content

Chats That Are Not Allowed

:black_small_square: "Only" Group Chats: No exclusionary chats

(e.g., "Girls Only," "Japanese People Only")

Don't restrict who can your public chat.

(s may use private group chats to restrict who s their conversation)

For sharing Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, etc.

No group recruitment in public chats

:black_small_square: Dating/Relationship Solicitation:

"Need GF/BF" chats

Prohibited Activities

Suggesting, organizing, or participating in raids

Sharing links to other platforms or Aminos

:black_small_square: Discord server links:

Not allowed in descriptions, announcements, or chats

:black_small_square: Advertising:

Don't promote other Aminos, blogs, or social media

:black_small_square: Posting inappropriate content:

Including via custom chat bubbles

:black_small_square: Singling out s:

No chats targeting specific individuals

Language Policy: Why English Only?

All public chats must use English for:

:ballot_box_with_check: Chat titles

:ballot_box_with_check: Chat descriptions

:ballot_box_with_check: All conversations (text and voice)

You're free to stream/listen to content in other languages as long as the chat's conversation remains in English.

This policy ensures:

➤ Our mod team can effectively

monitor all conversations

➤ All can participate equally

➤ We prevent misuse of other languages

for inappropriate content

Note: You can speak any language in private messages or private group chats.

Finding Who Speak Your Language

While public chats must be in English, you can still connect with speakers of your language:

➤ Create a chat with a title like

"Welcome [Language] Speakers"

➤ Once you meet speakers of your language,

you can continue conversations in private chats

➤ Avoid exclusionary titles like

"Only [Language] People"

If Your Chat Gets Disabled

personally request re-enabling

Dealing with Troublemakers

➤ Remove disruptive s from your chat

➤ Flag inappropriate messages (report under "Off Topic")

➤ Delete inappropriate images

➤ Don't engage with trolls – this only encourages them

Important Reminders

even if available through Giphy
