Red roses rain on me from the sky

The grey sky that stands above the city

The polluted city full of death and smoke

The hazy smoke that I cannot breathe

To all the mass extinction I am unaware

The wind whistles through the streets

No noise, no chatter, no cars, nothing

I’m just lost in my world, playing the violin

In this dead place, it dances and flows

The violins, an electrifying orchestra

The fuel pumped through my veins

The melody that suffocates the dread

The violins dance inside my imagination

A hum of strings lulls my disturbed mind

It leaves me carefree and makes me smile

A weird feeling I cannot translate lately

I need this electric voltage to make me work

I got addicted to what makes me forget the bad

The violins are leaving my back vulnerable

But I don’t care because it soothes me

I play the song on repeat, the dance continues

I’m tired of feeling destroyed and listening to chaos

Everything around me could rot and I don’t care

It’s time to tend to the strings that keep me alive
