Please read me to sleep

What have I left when I fall asleep? The incoherent small mutterings of the harsh realities on my shoulders. It is heavy yet when I dream it's all gone. I say goodbye but not as in 'I will never see you again'.

You sit there with a book in your hand, Cinderella, a really old disney book. With the flat back and front. With disney prints from the movies as pictures. I guess you could class them as vintage now.

'Once upon at time', It starts off.

Just hearing that phrase puts me at bliss. Dreamlike, fairytales and enchantements. Those four words are like a spell has been struck upon me yet — it is no love spell or a curse. It is a spell of child wonder, to experience it again.

You could read me the news or a fanfiction or some random story and I will be content with that. It is just a good feeling to be read to sleep. It feels like I have missed out on something in life. It is as if it wasn't there in my childhood when it was.

Or was it really or am I just ing all wrong?

I don't usually have nice dream. They are full of hate and malice and pain. Dreaming vividly but not wonderful things yet when I am read to sleep, I don't dream of horrible things.

And at night when I am alone, I have to sleep with anything that has a fraction of light on so I feel safe and nothing is going to hurt me. That is just an irrational thought. Nothing is going to hurt me as my mind believes there is a demon with me just because my glasses disappered and I never saw them again.

I looked everywhere and they are not in my apartment.
