Amidst argent ivory confines

Deep hues of nightly prowess

Adorned her throne

Myths and legends ascertained within

Its dangerous shade

Towering over the masses

She revelled in her vigor

To her reputation she

Glimmered amongst the common

To her image she

Obliviously flaunted

To her dull day she

Forcefully obliged

A lingering whiff of lavender

Reflected into her cerulean gaze

The animalistic silver

Risking its wrath

Set upon sapphire orbs clambering

In arrogant defiance

Accentuating shoulders and a breath

They were comforted in silence

She inquired herself on the being

Placed mere inches away from her pedestal

Her sterling beast literated icicles of truth

Laced with incessant purring

The queen’s eyes smouldered

I know my own kind when I see them

And right now there is one in these city walls

Its growl tearing against confines insisting on reunification

Perplexed sapphire orbs watched

As the storm ceased in her cerulean depths

As the silver oceanic depths

Locked into her ruby eyes

Her crimson abyss promising vengeance

Intertwined into amethyst recollection

She had discovered her

As the pair returned to reality

The royal dazzled by her goddess

In all her exuberance

She uttered in sighs for their ears alone

Long live the queens.
