Good day everyone! For this blog, I will be participating in this weeks Theme Hour which is all about building our own village for Breath of the Wild 2. I instantly thought about creating a map of a town, and decided to draw one out. I’m not a great artist, so my map is fairly simple, but i think it gets the job done and includes a lot of what BOTW had to offer that I’d like to see again!

My village is quite simple. You enter the village from the left top side, and the first thing you’ll is a small fishing pod where Link will be able to use his fishing pole to catch fish or swim. Going down the road, Link will by the Free Inn, where he can stay the night to the time away. To the right of the Free Inn is the Goddess Statue. I decided to add one just in case they’re in BOTW2. If you go north of the Goddess Statue, you’ll find a small crop field filled with food Link can take for cooking, and a forest all the way to the right.

If you decide to go ed the Inn, you’ll find a horse stable. ed the horse stable to the left, you’ll find where all the hylian villagers live and Link will be able to visit their homes & meet them. Each house unique on the inside, though fairly similar on the outside. Below the homes would be 3 different stalls for Link and the villagers to purchase from. A gem stall, where link can purchase different types of gems. A weapon stall for Link to purchase different swords, bows/arrows, bombs, and shields. Lastly, the third stall is where Link can purchase a small variety of cooked/raw foods.

To the right of the stables lies the home of the general merchant, where Link can also buy a variety of materials for rupees. Below the merchant and completing our lovely map would be the armor shop. Link would be able to purchase rare or missed armor pieces; such as clothing, head pieces, helmets, and more.

I hope you enjoyed my challenge entry for this weeks Theme Hour!! I had a ton of fun creating the map of my village! I wanted to include a little bit of everything in it, so the village would be a place for Link (the player) to want to visit a lot for the large variety of things to do and purchase!
