The sun was just starting to rise over the trees. A smirk formed on my face. I glanced down the drit road, no one in sight.
I cracked my neck, closed my eyes, and held out my arms.
" Night is right, Day is wrong, I wish to change my looks into the oldest and most impoverish man!"
I felt my face sag, my arms started to flab, my legs shake and my stomach shrink. I opened my eyes, blinking them a few times. My sight was bad but I could see.
I lifted up my hand and waved it around, gathering as much moisture as I could. When I had gotten enough, I turned it into a thin ice mirror and took a glanced at myself.
I smiled with glee, it worked better than I imagined! My beautiful curly chestnut hair was now long, tangled, and the color of fresh snow. My face was wrinkled and covered in moles and warts.
I threw the ice mirror on the ground and it shattered into a million pieces. I rubbed my hands together and smiled even more.
I thought of the suckers who would see a poor old man on the side of road hunched over, they would stop to help since it's one of the good virtues" Always help those who need, never turn up your nose to them". Just for them to be robbed!
I laughed hysterically at the thought. I clenched my stomach since it started to hurt from my laughing. I took a few deep breaths and pulled myself together.
I was about to start my act when I realized something. I may look like a peasant but I didn't smell like one. A quick sniff of the armpit, lavender, peppermint, and lillies attacked my nose with their lovely smell.
I sighed and walked into the woods. I knew that there was a river near by, I would just lather myself in mud. Maybe rubbed some moss under my arms! Hell, if I'm lucky enough I might find some deer dung! I grinned in joy, the prefect plan!
As I walked further into the woods, I couldn't help but notice the presence of a very powerful magical aura. I stopped and thought for a minute.
If there that much magic in the area, that most likely means that there is something very valuable hidden somewhere!
I turned towards the magical aura. The old traveler plan could wait a bit. I lumbered through the trees, getting closer and closer to the aura. My heart beat slowly rising.
What would I find?
Would it be gold?
Would it be jewel's?
Or a maybe even a dragon heart!
The possibilities were endless! I smiled with a little giggle.
" Who goes there?!" A deep voice boomed.
I looked to my left, a massive blueish gray troll with wooden club stood there gazing into the woods.
I smirked." Please don't hurt me!" I said in my best old man voice as I stepped out from behind a tree.
The troll looked at me and set down his club. " Oh, sorry!" He scratched his bald head.
" I didn't mean to startle you!" He chuckled nervously." Let me help you back to the road!"
I nodded my head slowly." Why thank you! But I would like to ask you a question?"
The troll rised an eyebrow." Sure, what is it?"
I smirked." What are you guarding?" I said breaking my act.
" None of your business!" The troll growled as he lifted his hand up to crush me.
I summoned a ball of water and used it to jet out of the way, just by the skin of my teeth!
The trolls hand shook the ground viciously, I even felt it in the air!
I landed on my feet, I held out my right arm and closed my eyes.
" Day is right, Night is wrong, turned me back into the person I once was before!" I shouted. I felt my body change. I opened my eyes and smiled at the troll.
The troll grimaced." An Illusionist and a water mage?!" The troll shook his head and chuckled." That's a combined I thought I never see!"
I formed a sword and shield of ice, lowering my body. I was ready for a fight!
The troll uprooted a tree and hurled it at me. I swiftly summoned more water and make a slide of ice. I tossed myself on it and slid out of the path of the tree. I jumped up and transformed the slide into a whip. I slashed the troll across his face, he screamed and covered his face.
I transformed the whip into another water ball and jetted forward towards the troll. I swung at the trolls neck, his blue blood came spraying out. His hands dropped from his neck and he fell face first on the ground.
" No! Enso!" A girl's voice shouted in distress.
I looked up, a huge stone tower was suddenly in front of me. At the top there was a wooden house perched on wooden s. And there in the window was the girl, her long wavey auburn hair blew in the wind.
That's when I realized something, I Jace Desen must climb the tower, save the fair maiden, and of course get some riches on the side.
I gripped my sword and bolted to the tower.
