I ran right up to the tower, standing in front of the wooden door. I glanced up, moss and vines engulfed the lower half of the tower.

I took a step back and then kicked in the door. It hit the ground with a hard thud. I pointed my sword in front of me and slowly walked into the room.

The place smelled of dew and moss, to be expected. The room was kinda dark, but the outside light lit up the room. I looked to my right and saw the stairs.

I bolted towards them. I was on the first step when I heard the click of heels coming down. I stepped back down and ready my sword.

"Show yourself monster!" I shouted.

" What!" A feminine voice shouted." You're the one who killed Enso and broke into our tower!"

The woman finally showed herself. She was dressed in long purple gown embroidered with silver at the bottom and neck of her dress. A black cape lay on her shoulders. Her short raven hair hung close to her jaw, her elf pointy ears poking out from her hair

" I don't think you should be calling me a "monster!" She hissed at me.

" You're keeping a girl in this tower against her will!" I screamed at her as I gripped my sword handle tighter.

" Against her will?!" She started to laugh." She's here to protected from bone headed idiots like you!" She screeched as purple flames formed in her hands.

She rised her hands and lunched it at me. I jumped out the way. I summoned ice on my fingers, I turned back and shot them at her.

She doged them in an instant, she summoned more purple flames and started to toss them like mad!

I gritted my teeth and attempted not to get killed. I was jumping back and forth, trying to get a foot hold somewhere so I could have control of the situation back in my favor.

I leaped out the way of another fireball. I thought that this was my chance, I summoned a water whip and cracked it at her.

She threw a huge fireball at me in response. Once the whip collided with the fire it immediately vaporized!

I stood there frozen, unsure of my next move but it was too late. I was engulfed in the flames and fell back on the ground.

I groaned in agony as I watched the elf come over to me. Her heavy breath hung in the air. She put her hands above me, flames radiated from them.

" This is what you get!" She gritted through her teeth as she lifted up her hands.

I took a deep breath. With the last of my strength I waved my hand and gathered moisture, with that little bit I lunched myself towards her. As I was heading straight to her, I formed a ice dagger.

I yelled as I impaled her just under her burst.

She looked down, her eyes widened as blood started to ooze out of her mouth. I swiftly and suddenly removed the dagger from her, stepping out of the way so her body could drop.

I sighed in anguish. The girl here must be very important if both an elf and troll is guarding her.

I cracked my neck and slowly walked to the stairs. I glanced up, nothing but stairs. I took a deep breath and started climbing.
