Valley of Stars - Artwork

Greetings! Today I'd like to show you a small Artwork I created. It's just a simple sketch and mainly an experiment with a few effects but I hope you like it anyway. It shows ser Ser Bonifer Hasty and the 'dream version' of Rhaella Targaryen. To draw this artwork I used mainly Paint Tool Sai and later Krita, as well as a Graphic Tablet.

I started with drawing the background. I decided to just draw a simple nightsky with starts and made the blueish colour become darker towards the borders of the picture. For the Stars I usee brushes varying in size and used the 'luminosity' effect to make them look more realistic.

Next, I drew Bonifer Hasty's cloak, showing the sigil of his house.I added shadow and lighting effects and decided to make him wear the hood as well for a more mysterious, nearly surreal appearance.

To continue I started with drawing a black path. I used a picture of ink as a reference photo to get it to look more realistic. At the end of the Path you can see Rhaella, drawn as a white dream with stars and a violet light around her. The white glow surrounding her also provides a contrast to the dark background.

For the Last step I added a moon in the upper left corner. Furthermore did I draw sparks in violet and blue colours. To make them have a shiny effect I again used the luminosity tool. I hope you like it, thanks!
