Black and white glimmers, a fragment flying in the air. A slow stop in time, to catch and gather the pieces.
A treasure hunt alone in my mind, a familiar setting afar from home. Wavering pieces caught one by one, intertwining with each other.
Shining to the point of blinding me.
Flying away in between small gaps of grass, running to catch them all. By a river they light up the blue water.
My eyes reflecting all the beautiful pieces floating up and down like a floating leaf. Time stopping everything but a fantasy world.
A world untouched, a bug and another glimmer. A quick paced rush into the new landscape.
A close encounter with you, a glimmer, a fraction of what I’ve seen. Reaching out to touch you-
Collapse.
Glimmering world. You’re gone into a million little pieces.
Time which has stopped, resumes it feels. Ticking away without you, pieces of lights surrounding me.
I look to the sky and can’t see any stars, or maybe I did. The lights blend in and nothing feels real.
No more collecting, but waiting. For a sign that’s you’ll come back.
A human, a soul to touch this world.
Alone again.
Blending colours, lonely time.
Hanging on to the patches of light, to see what once was.
But is no longer-
