A mirror, I look in. Alone I stand reflection of an empty room. A poster of a girl singing ionately, but dead eyes. Captured by the audience cheering below her.
I imagine myself in her position, adoring fans, a little too obsessed. Not much freedom, but adoration soaring. Pumping adrenaline, a big crowd. Head filling with overwhelming thoughts.
Dance step 1, 2.
But that’s just me, and I’m still in the mirror.
I walk away, obviously. I got a little bored staring at myself in the mirror. I go to bed, tossing and turning, thinking about that woman on the wall. A burning thought in my mind. Her voice belting out lyrics, dance steps 1, 2.
The woman now looks in the mirror, her dead eyes but ionate singing. Adoring fans looking up to her looking in the mirror as well. Booming music in their ears, dance steps 1, 2.
However it’s a silent room, and empty mirror.
So I fall asleep with an echoing silence and dead eyes looking upon me.
