Judgement Day 2003 - Charlotte Coliseum, Charlotte, North Carolina

Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero(c) def. Team Angle to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships

Rey Mysterio(c) def. Tajiri to retain the Cruiserweight Championship

Christian(c) def. RVD to retain the Intercontinental Championship

Trish Stratus(c) def. Molly Holly and Victoria to retain the Women's Championship

30 Minute Iron Man Match Shawn Michaels def. Chris Jericho 3-2

After Backlash, Shawn Michaels challenges Chris Jericho to one more match which Y2J accepts. Jericho offers to up the stakes and make it a 30 minute Iron Man Match. The Showstopper accepts, promising he’ll end this and says Jericho can bring his goon Christian with him if he wants. Jericho however says that he’ll leave Christian in the back and finish what he started. Shawn Michaels wins in a class encounter to close out the feud

Booker T(c) def. Triple H and Kevin Nash to retain the World Heavyweight Championship

After Backlash, Kevin Nash returns from his quad injury and says he wants one thing, the World Heavyweight Championship. Triple H interrupts and tells his former friend Big Daddy Cool to get to the back of the line, he’s invoking his rematch clause. Eric Bischoff thinks both men make a fair claim so says that Booker T will defend his championship at Judgment Day against both men. Booker says this is a challenge that he welcomes. Booker T pins Nash to retain his championship.

Hell in a Cell Match: Brock Lesnar(c) def. The Undertaker to retain the WWE Championship

The same bloody and brutal affair we got in real life at No Mercy 2002 happens here instead. The Undertaker challenges Brock Lesnar to a one on one rematch for the WWE Championship that he never lost. Lesnar accepts and tells Big Evil that he’ll put in the fight of his life to keep the title. The Undertaker then challenges Lesnar to up the stakes and face him inside Hell in a Cell! Lesnar says if beating The Undertaker inside the devil’s playground is what he has to do to further solidify legendary status in the WWE, he accepts! Brock Lesnar wins clean to retain the WWE Championship and the show draws to a close with The Next Big Thing holding his title high in the air on top of the cell.

Victoria def. Trish Stratus(c) to win the Women's Championship

Kevin Nash def. Ric Flair

RVD def. Christian(c) to win the Intercontinental Championship

Rob Van Dam does double duty on the night and recaptures the Intercontinental Championship in a 15 minute, fast paced encounter.

Goldberg def. Chris Jericho

This feud starts when Jericho starts making fun of Goldberg by saying that he’s nothing but a parasite and he doesn’t understand why the fans stupidly chant his name. Goldberg tells Jericho that at Bad Blood, he’s next! Goldberg wins after a Jackhammer although Jericho puts up a fight for a bit.

Triple H def. Booker T(c) to win the World Heavyweight Championship in a Steel Cage

Triple H challenges Booker T to one final battle at Bad Blood. Booker T accepts and tells Triple H that he’ll end this once and for all in his hometown of Houston. Eric Bischoff announces this match will take place inside a Steel Cage! Just as Booker T is about to escape the cage, Randy Orton emerges from the crowd and smashes the cage door over Booker T’s head. Triple H adds insult to injury, delivers a Pedigree and pins Booker T to win the World Heavyweight Championship! Bad Blood ends with Triple H, Orton and Flair celebrating.

Notes

The night after Bad Blood, Kane challenges Triple H on Raw for the World Heavyweight Championship. Although there’s a stipulation… If Kane loses, he must unmask! Kane loses thanks to Evolution. Kane instead of chokeslamming RVD walks to the top of the ramp, unmasks with his back to crowd and leaves. Kane doesn’t appear on television for a while.

Stephanie McMahon revives the United States Championship and announces that the new champion will be determined in a match between Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit!

Number One Contenders Match for the WWE Championship The Undertaker def. John Cena

John Cena runs his heel mouth about the locker room before The Undertaker interrupts. The Dean tells Cena to try him, he’ll make him famous! Stephanie McMahon then announces that The Undertaker and John Cena will face off at Vengeance and the winner will become the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship! Cena puts up a fight but The Undertaker eventually wins after hitting Cena with a Tombstone Piledriver

Kurt Angle def. Brock Lesnar(c) to win the WWE Championship

The anticipated WrestleMania rematch is set after Kurt Angle returns from his neck injury and invokes his rematch clause for the WWE Championship. Lesnar welcomes him back and tells him as good as it is to see him back, Angle will leave Vengeance just like he did WrestleMania, a loser. Kurt Angle wins this match clean with an Angle Slam to reclaim the WWE Championship! After the match, Brock Lesnar turns heel, beats the hell out of Angle and leaves him in a bloody mess as Vengeance draws to a close

Worlds Greatest Tag Team def. The APA(c) to win the WWE Tag Team Championships

Victoria(c) def. Jazz to retain the Women's Championship

After a classic bout at Vengeance, Chris Benoit challenges his friend to one more match at SummerSlam. Latino Heat accepts, telling his friend may the best man win. Eddie Guerrero retains the title via a roll up in a classic 20 minute contest. After the match, Chris Benoit raises his friends arm up high in the air.

Jamie Noble def. Rey Mysterio(c) to win the Cruiserweight Championship

Jamie cheats to win and takes Nidia to Applebee's

Brock Lesnar def. Kurt Angle(c) and The Undertaker to win the WWE Championship

The Undertaker beating John Cena and Brock invoking his rematch clause results in Stephanie McMahon making Kurt Angle defend his championship at SummerSlam against both men. Lesnar who’s just turned heel wants his title back, claiming Angle is just keeping it warm for him. The Undertaker wants to reclaim his yard and being the WWE Champion would be the ultimate emphasis. Kurt Angle welcomes the challenge, claiming he’ll break any of their freaking ankles if he has to. In a very chaotic match, Brock Lesnar wins back the WWE Championship after Paul Heyman smashes Kurt Angle over the head with a chair to help his once again client win

Goldberg def. Triple H(c), Kevin Nash, Booker T, Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton in an Elimination Chamber match to win the World Heavyweight Championship

Same build, longer match and different outcome. Instead of Triple H politicking to retain the World Title, Goldberg wins this match and the World Heavyweight Championship as he eliminates every single competitor from this match, last eliminating not Triple H but Shawn Michaels. SummerSlam draws to a close with Goldberg reigning supreme
