Why Sheldon Creed Will Win The 2020 Truck Series Championship

1. Sheldon Creed Has Been The Best Driver Of The Playoffs

Creed has had an awesome playoffs. He has been in contention in almost every single race. He is always up front and has arguably been the best driver this season.

2. Creed Has Been Very Good At All Types Of Tracks

He has won 4 races at 3 different tracks. He has 2 wins on 1.5 mile tracks, 1 win on a flatter, and some long track (Gateway), and a win on a road course. He has shown he is a great driver and could be in contention to win.

3. He Is Willing To Be Aggressive

He has shown that he is not afraid to be aggressive and could try anything to win a championship late in the race.

Why Sheldon Creed Won’t Win The 2020 Truck Series Championship

1. He Is Inconsistent

Creed is pretty hit or miss. He can be very good and be in contention to win or he is outside the top 10. If they have a mediocre truck he will have trouble winning his 1st championship.

2. He Has 2 Teammates In The Final 4

Creed will have 3 teammates in the final 4. That means he will have to be a little less aggressive around them to keep the team happy. He also won’t have the outright best car in the final 4 since GMS will need to supply 3 cars with the best equipment they have.

3. He Is Unable To Close Out Races

Creed has had a lot of trouble closing out races and getting the win. He leads a ton of laps and wins a few stages but he finishes 2nd. He will need to fix his inability to win the races if he wants the championship.
