Moffitt has finished in the top 5 in almost 1/2 of the races this season and has been in the top 10 in points all season. He is always in contention every week.

2. He Is A Winner At Phoenix

Moffitt is one of 3 Phoenix winners in the Truck field. Him, Sauter, and Friesen are the only 3 with a win. Both Friesen and Sauter are out of the playoffs so Moffitt could dominate the championship race.

3. He Has The Most Time To Prepare For Phoenix

With winning at Kansas Moffitt will get 3 weeks to prepare for the final race instead of 2 or 1.

Why Brett Moffitt Won’t Win The 2020 Truck Series Championship

1. He Will Has At Least 1 Teammate In The Final 4

Moffitt’s teammate Sheldon Creed will also be in the final 4. He could have more teammates in the final 4 as Zane Smith and Tyler Ankrum still have a chance at it. This means he won’t get the best equipment the team has to offer since they need to give everyone with a shot a good car.

2. Moffitt Has Struggled To Win

Moffitt only has 1 win this season. While he doesn’t need to win to get the championship he will still need to be in contention all race.

3. He Has Consistently Been Outperformed By His Teammate

In most races this season (Especially Since Kentucky) Creed has performed much better than Moffitt. He has been faster, more consistent, and has been in contention to win every week. Moffitt will need to outperform Creed to win the championship.
