Anxiety is something that is very real, especially in the LGBT community. It is becoming more and more common with every ing year along with depression and other mental health problems.

It’s a daily struggle for a lot of people and even if it isn’t. It sucks. For some people it could be once a week or once a month but either way it exists and you don’t need to be diagnosed to experience it. Everyone experiences it, in one form or another.
I’m going to be talking about the more intense cases of anxiety that I know of from personal experience. So if anything is wrong. Let me know!
Here are some examples of what it’s like Living With Anxiety.

• You could wake up one morning and start to feel nervous, you don’t know why you feel nervous but you do and this nervousness will most likely end up staying with you the whole day. This is anxiety.
• You might look at someone and think that they don’t like you and then you start avoiding people or having negative thoughts and not wanting to face it. This is anxiety.
• You might even put on a pair of jeans that you love and feel really comfortable in, when you’re in the house but then the second you walk out of your house. You feel like everyone is staring and that you don’t look or feel comfortable in. This is anxiety.
These are all a form of anxiety, it’s very really and sometimes it can be really debilitating.
Some people get so anxious that they’re sick or they get headaches or they don’t sleep. Some people won’t even leave their house.
It’s real, it’s scary, but it’s not the end of the world.
There are various ways of getting help or overcoming anxiety and I urge anyone that is living with it to find a form of help.
Whether it be counselling, meditation, your local GP or even asking a friend to walk with you into your classroom in the morning. Please don’t suffer alone.
I hope this helped, especially to the people that might not understand what anxiety is and if it helps someone reach out and get help then that’s great!

I'm so sorry, I anxiety too, sometimes I'll get so stressed my stomach will hurt for days. I take prozac to help it though
I was on Prozac and I genuinely feel I need to go back onto it

It does do good, and if you feel that way, you should probably consult your psychologist, when I started I was afraid I'd still need it once I finish but, I think I'll do alright
