Hey, as always... The inspiration HIT. This is a little more.. personal than my other stuff. I guess I was experimenting a little. So here you go.. Enjoy?

It was seven in the morning.

He had stayed up all night talking to her once again.

The way she laughed, smiled, and looked into his eyes... The way she spoke of her interests, her voice filled with ion. It all mesmerised him, pulled him deeper, tangled him further into love.

Every time he saw her face, he sank deeper. Every time he heard her speak, he longed to listen more. Even when he already knew the answers, he would still ask, just to hear her explain, just to hear her talk.

It was she who made him discover who he was.

It was she who saved him from the embrace of death.

It was her, and only her, who saw him for who he was.

The only one who could pull him from the shadows, even if only for a while.

It was all.. HER.

The years flew by with her around,

The more he got to know her,

The more he felt her warmth.

To others, she was just a little bunny.

But to the wolf,

She was his whole life, his whole journey, whole world.

Everyone found them strange.

Everyone was against them.

He did not want her hurt,

Not because of him,

Not because of them.

So he thought of her one last time, his mind made up. He could not bear to be the one to hurt the person he loved most. His own being causing her suffering the most.

As he howled one last time from the cliff where they had first met, his heart cried out, hoping –just hoping– she would hear.

His howling lasted long, lingering in the wind.

And when it stopped,

So did his suffering.

So did HER suffering.

The chapter had closed.

It was truly the end for everything.
