Yet here I am once again.
The reflection in the mirror and I,
I wonder how many times more
This will be him and I.
Looking for someone to blame,
Yet here I stand, still the same.
The reflection in the mirror and I,
We no longer wonder, just stare,
As if waiting for someone
Who was never there.
I stare as my eyes still shine,
Though nothing about them feels fine.
Even though I want to see,
I can't tell who this is supposed to be.
My pale skin starts to itch;
I hear my own mind scream and twitch.
Why must I keep feeling,
When no-one's even listening?
I watch as my eyes keep twitching,
My pupils wide and shifting.
I don't know what I'm doing,
Or where the hell this is going.
