Create Your Own RPG Challenge

Greetings friends, acquaintances, & strangers alike, welcome to my blog post, I hope you are all doing well! Today I will be participating in the “Create Your Own RPG Challenge”, I just couldn’t up the opportunity to show off my ocs. Buckle down, grab a snack and get comfy because without further ado we will now be getting into the post!

title & summary:

50 years into the apocalypse and little to no hope for the rehabilitation of humanity, a devastating nuke is dropped on North America with the desire to end all suffering. Because of that bomb, the already dangours biters began to mutate into many different menacing creatures that lurk within the radiation zone (nicknamed the Badlands), thus creating a new era of fear. Our hero, Bowie, who is wanted by a cult that yearns for a cure, discovers he has a power that he believes can restore life as it once was. Bowie then starts his journey to cross the badlands, with the intention of finding the salvation and hope for the rest of humanity.

In this one player role playing game, you play as Bowie Hall, the main character. With the power Bowie wields he is able to protect himself and the people he cares about, however things don’t always sail smoothly. Every critical decision you make will alter your relationship with your companions, thus creating a slightly different endings. This means that you do need to be careful about what you say and do because you just might get caught slacking! (Ex: Lying at the wrong time can lead to unnecessary character deaths or violence; thus altering your relationship with the people around you throughout the game.)

Q: what gave you inspiration for this game?

My inspiration for my entry came from a comic that I’ve been in the process of making for a while! The ocs I’ve included in this post are ones I’ve had since middle school, and let me just say real quick their designs came a long way. Growing up I loved The Walking Dead (shows and comics), dawn of the dead, 28days later, and movies alike (what can I say Ive just always had a natural love/interest for zombies and post apocalyptic settings :sweat_smile: ) so I knew for this challenge I just had to use old ocs!

I wanted to do more drawings for this challenge because I love the idea but didn’t have enough time, hopefully this is good enough for y’all 🏌🏼‍♂ also I figured out a way to transfer drawings I did on paper onto my phone with media bang! Might do some more things using this method while I save up for my drawing tablet!
