Unknown Specimen #1: H̵͓̭̄͘A̵͇̥͐̓́T̵̪̄Ě̸̲̌͑ | (#Brickfest2020 Week 3)

Welcome to another post, my fellow dudes and dudettes!

While still under my original build hiatus, today- I’m continuing on with my villain saga by making another Brickfest entry!

This time, for the Week 3 challenge, I’ve decided to showcase a new, strange specimen extracted from an unknown dimension.

Behold... The odd, inky creature known as-

”HATE”!

~ Overall Design: ~

In its base form, HATE is a jet black, ink-like puddle of liquid that sometimes bubbles and shifts around like boiling water. Being only a puddle of liquid, Hate can take many forms and shapes.

In its second form, however, it seems to mimic the look of a regular minifigure, though its incredibly malformed and tall. It has one, skinny and tiny arm on the left, while it has an oddly muscular and long arm on the right. Its legs are also non-existent; since they protrude themselves out of their puddle with the aid of a ‘tail-like’ lower body part. The only body part relating to a minifigure is its head, which is entirely featureless. It’s shape and figure is incredibly bent and crooked. It’s ink-like substance constantly drips and streams down its arms and figure.

~ Description and Backstory: ~

The mysterious creature only known as “HATE”, or just as the “creature”, was extracted from a mysterious laboratory founded in the odd and mostly hidden dimension known as the “X-T.r.a.” dimension. The creature is said to be apart of an experiment gone wrong. The experiment in question was called “Operation: ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛”; which was an attempt to use all the combined powers of all 5 ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ Crystals to create ⬛⬛⬛⬛, which is believed that if harnessed, can lead to one achieving ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛. The reason and backstory behind this experiment is unknown. The end result—and the presumed reason why this experiment failed—gave birth to the entity known as “HATE”. A few copies and prototypes were extracted from it, thus leaving the true whereabouts of the real creature unknown. The creature being showed here is one of those prototypes that was tinkered with and domesticated to fit the Lyric Empire.

The Prototype creature, with it being completely domesticated, is (usually) very ive and friendly. With it being tamed, it can also be freely distributed as a reliable source for the Lyric Empire. A very useful way HATE can be used is for the empire’s military—because when met up with an average robot soldier, Hate can latch on and merge itself into said robot, and allows the robot to shapeshift some of their limbs into weapons or any other shape, which is mostly on their left side.

HATE can merge with almost anything!

...However, with organic beings, like humans, and/or other animals, there is a notable difference.

At first, and like normal, they seem peaceful.

But then... their behavior immediately changes.

While kept within their grasp, Hate slowly manifests itself into their host. It’s similar to when it’s merging with a robot or an object, though in this current state, they act incredibly aggressive and violent. It’s like they completely lost their self-control.

And then... the host dies.

But luckily!

The creature has a weakness!

And... it’s... Water...?

To get rid of HATE from the host, water is the only known weakness to it. No one knows how, or why only water can be a weakness, but some say it’s due to a certain legend, which... itself might deserve another blog. However, if an organic host is about to get consumed by Hate, it will take a few full buckets of water to fully get it off the host. It is recommended to use a powerful hose, as used above.

Note: Water does not destroy the substance, it only helps isolate it, or “run away” from the host’s body. The substance is practically hydrophobic.

After reading all of this... you might ask,

“How the hell does this thing correlate with the L-Copycat?”

Well...

For the L-Copycat, they were given a piece of the creature. Same with Viperous, as well as Lyric himself. Everyone in the Lyric Empire usually carries a piece of the creature, and each piece is kept in a clear circular capsule in order to keep it and anyone around it safe.

However, many people can use Hate in different ways. In the L-Copycat’s case, they prefer to use it as making identical clones of themself, usually in acts of stealth, extra defense, or even an auto-pilot for the L-Prowler! They can be very useful as a henchman, too!
