simple DIY HP

In some countries it is virtually impossible to by harry potter merchandice so i am all for people who make their own.

                SO *DO IT YOURSELF*

here are some small tutorials about how to make simple HP things for youself:

:ring: RING :ring:

(harry potter glasses+scar wire ring)

-wire

-pliers

-a very thin round stick

1) cut yourself a relatively long piece of wire - excess can be cut off later

2)wrap one end of the wire around the stick in a circle - repeat the step a little farther away

3) curve the long part of the wire (on the right) round your finger

4) use this end to create a zig zag 'avadakedavra' scar

(cut off excess wire)

:dango: WAND :oden:

(personalised wand - realistic)

-paint (black+brown)

-stick (appropriate width +length)

(personal preference) (maybe 9-10inches)

-hot glue gun + glue

1) using glue from your heated glue gun, wrap the glue aroud the base of your stick and make a 'grip'

2) continue to wrap glue around the stick to make patterns

3)wait for the glue to dry (hold it and wave it around - only takes 5 mins max)

4)paint over the glue in any colour and leave to dry!

:shirt: T-SHIRT :shirt:

-bleach

-old paintbrush

-any tshirt (darker colours work best)

-printed stencil

1)cut and tear the tshirt in any way you like (can be skipped)

2)lay out a stencil onto the tshirt or freehand it

3)using an old paintbrush dipped in bleach - carefully go around/in the stencil with bleach

4)leave the shirt to dry

(side notes)

**old paintbrush as bleach is corrosive and will dissintigrate bristles

**be careful that bleach does not go through to the other side of the shirt (put cardboard in between)

** bleach is toxic - not for younger children BE CAREFUL
