What's up guys!? I'm back with another Maxima Modification. This time I've done something that I wanted to do ever since I got this car...
I finally got some new wheels & tires

They are 2005-2006 Nissan Altima SE-R 18×8 forged aluminum wheels. After months and months of looking for wheels I came across these for super cheap, $40 on Craigslist, and just couldn't them up despite the rough condition. Naturally, because of the rough condition, I decided to fully restore them.
The Restoration Process
1st: I cleaned & sanded down all of the wheels
2nd: I applied bondo to the curb rash
3rd: I sanded down everything so that it was smooth to the touch
4th: I cleaned the wheels again with rubbing alcohol
5th: I sprayed 2 coats of grey Automotive primer
6th: I sprayed 3-5 light coats of Rustoleum Charcoal Metallic paint on top
The whole process took about 2 weeks due to working around my School & Work schedule but I think it could easily be done over a long weekend

Final product
After I finished the restoration process I went down to my trusted tire shop & got some brand new Nexen N5000 tires thrown on them. I even got some new black lug nuts to complete the look. They're by no means perfect but I wasn't going for perfect. All I wanted was a good looking Factory set of Nissan wheels and I think I successfully accomplished that.

Until next time guys.... Thanks for reading and as always keep your eyes open for more mods

Those wheels look amazing on the car. The black on the wheels tie in with the black grille. Great looking car
Thanks bud, that's the whole reason I chose the color I did. :+1:
