What's up guys!? Today I figured I'd share something a little bit different since after all this app is about more than just cars. So what do I have?

A Tractor
To be more specific this is an old (not quite sure what year) Massey Ferguson 1010 that I happen to use on a daily basis at work.
Now when I first started doing ground keeping at the Country Club where I work, I absolutely hated this thing. It was loud, leaked oil, smoked like a chimney & was difficult to drive. But recently we got the smoking & oil leaking issue fixed, put a fresh tank of diesel fuel in it and now I love using it.

This thing has a Toyosha 0.9L 3Cyl Diesel engine that makes a whopping 16HP, but let me tell you the torque is amazing!!
The transmission is a 6 speed foward & 2 speed reverse (low and high gears) manual. In low gear this thing crawls along barely moving, but once in high gear it really starts to move!! I think the top speed is somewhere around 7mph but it feels like you're doing 25mph.
Every day I use this thing, I grow to love it more and more. Unfortunately we are looking to sell it soon to purchase a John Deere Gator which will give us a more versatile and easy to use machine. However there is just something about the chugging along of the diesel engine combined with manually changing the gears that is so enjoyable to me!!
I will definitely miss sitting behind this massive steering wheel when it goes, who knows I may even be interested in buying it as a little project... But for the moment I will enjoy driving it around as I do my daily work around the Country Club.

Pff a a french tracktor... I own a deutz (german) 2.3l 3cyl with 26hp fool... Its also got the front forks and is from like 1950-70 and i have 4fast gears foreward, 4 slow gears, 4reverse gears
Oh man that thing is sweet and a whole lot bigger than this small yard tractor. Also this Massey Ferguson was actually Made in Japan according to it's build plate.
Instead of coffee and cars meet up I smell a tractor pull oh wait never mind that smell is from the farm
Haha yup!! I've always had this dream in the back of my head of owning/running a small farm operation.
