I’m going to look at 3 CJ’s in the next couple days that I can get for stupid cheap. I’m under the impression that they’re earlier civilian models but I still haven’t seen them and wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a later model or a military model mixed in. None of them run at the moment but I was told 2 of them ran when they were parked and that all the tires hold air. I’ve already got an M38A1 that’s been sitting a while so I’m hoping that between the 4 I’ll be able to put together at least one good one. Anyways I have some general knowledge about old jeeps but next to no actual experience or in depth knowledge about them so I figured I’d ask here for some resources for finding information about exactly what I’ve got (engines, rear ends, etc). Pictures are of my M38A1, really just to draw attention.
