I spread an over abundance of seeds in this pot. I am WELL aware of that but…

But, that also gives more of a opportunity of polytoyledony to happen right??

And that’s exactly what happened.

Many many sprouts popped up with 3 cotyledons. Nothing more, and nothing less than the normal 2.

It seems like every time I try to keep a plant that grows extra cotyeldons die and don’t exactly grow. It’s kind of sad.

But not this time. This time, I, and you will be witnessing what It looks like when this occurs in a plant.

Now, I don’t exactly know what each of these plants are. As it is a mix of seeds and they aren't mature at all, so it’s hard to tell. But, they don't need to be mature to show it off.

When a plant grows an extra cotyledon, it’s a mutation. And sometimes, its another side a plant can grow. And THAT’S WHAT YOUR SEEING!!

The plants that you see growing these 3 true leaves, will be growing them permanently, and give more opportunity for offshooting and studying!

After all, nothing is like learning to have it happen right in front of you.

I hope these plant’s can continue to grow and survive.

There are indeed still a lot of sprouts in this pot. I will be taking a lot out, leaving good space between the planties, and will try to leave at least one plant of each growing. Since it’s a mix of a ton of leaves, I’ll try to keep count, as some seem to be in abundance haha.

I think it’s one of the coolest thing to see. Even growing one extra leaf, is super cool. Out of the norm than the normal 2, even that one extra growing from there on out will be super cool to see. AHH!
