February 13th, Day 686: Hating Pots

Lupin

A while ago, not too long ago though, I made a post about growing some lupins!

Lupins are very pretty plants and flowers. Growing tall spikes with many many flowers. Even offshoots! Which for some reason I didn’t think they did haha.

I had planted some seeds in a pot inside. And then I did a transplant.

The other plants, Holly Hocks, did incredible, and every single one made it. Living and thriving, all growing their first leaf.

However, that cannot be said the same for the lupin. They had died, and I planted more seeds, but in the pot they’d be growing in. After all, I did think it was the transplant that they didn’t like. So, I grew them in the pot they’d be growing in to skip the process I thought that had killed them.

But, not even that.

It’s a pretty grim scene haha.

All of them have died. And even if you see that one still alive… well trust me, it’s not anymore. As the photo is a few days old now, and even with water and sunlight, nothing had saved it.

So, we will sadly not be watching Lupins growing in a pot of their own :(.

BuuuUuUuuUuut, THAT DOESN’T GO THE SAME FOR THE PERENNIAL POTS!!

I have a separate thing going on that I’m keeping a secret. BUT! The Perennial Pots is not a secret that those plants are grown a lot!

They had been growing faster and better than the ones in the pot that I was going to keep the Lupin posts to. But, because they just do not like the pot, these will be the ones we focus on. And that’s perfectly fine >:)
