Hello Epic amino!

Today, I'm participating in the 1500 community challenge! It's absolutely crazy that we've grown so much, so quickly. Now, without further ado, let's get into it!

"What makes this community special to you?"

When I was just a wee 14-year-old, at the beginning of covid, I ed the Percy Jackson amino. It was one of the most active amino's on the platform during that time. I spent hours upon hours upon hours posting blogs, interacting with other , organizing group activities...etc. I even met someone who lives closeby, and we became irl best friends! All that to say, when I came back to amino a short six months ago, I thought I would never find something like that again. Then suddenly, I end up in the Epic amino, and it felt like I had gone back in time. Back to amino's prime time, when everyone was active, kind, and creative. I was so happy to have found a community like this again!

"Why do you enjoy being here?"

I enjoy it here because it's the perfect merging of fandom and community! Everyone is so open and kind, and we get this cool mesh of canon content, discussing the characters, the music,... and our own fandom content! The beautiful OCs, the community related events,... It's like an all year round online convention and I absolutely love it. Not even speaking of all the fun roleplays this place has going on!

"Which little or big things mean something to you?"

If there's something this community brings me that I love, it's art. I love, love, love drawing! It's one of my greatest ions. I started out making art so long ago, and my biggest motivator was amino. Here, in this small community, it feels more like people actually see your art and appreciate it. It feels a lot less like talking into a void, like on instagram or tumblr. I also love looking at other people's creations. The amount of creativity and talent in our little group is unbelievable.

"What do you wish for in the future?"

I ed the mod team a month ago, so I'm very happy I can be part of the organization of this community. If there's something I want to bring to this place, it's a feeling of safety and fun. I want to help create the same atmosphere and activity that 14-year-old Coco fell in love with. I want for all the epic fans, who are also developing themselves as artists, to be able to come on here and have a safe space to share their art, to improve, to have fun. This is my biggest wish!
