Vocabulary:

Portare- to carry

Amare - to love

Cantare- to sing

Cogitare- to think

Servare- to guard

Canticum= chant, song, spell

Te= thee/ you (in singular, accusative case)

Solus/-a/-um=only, alone

Officium= job

Meus/-a/-um= my/mine

Duce(ĕ)m= ruler (accusative) (nominative= dux(c-s)

Let's make sentences

I sing a song

(Cantare- canto)

Ego canto unum canticum/ canto unum canticum/ unum canticum canto

Unus\-a\-um= one/a/an

I love you and only you

(Amare- amo)

Te amo et te solus

I think that's better

Cogito illud melior esse

My job is to protect/guard the ruler

Officium meum servare ducem est
