When we say goodbye,
it's not really a goodbye,
but more of a 'see you later!'

Here we have the 31st post for the
31st of October! Oh, and you will
encounter references to all of my
previous posts all throughout the
month, ranging from 'All Hallow's
Eve' to yesterday's 'Are You Alice?'
Think of it as the Frankenstein
Monster of posts. Or at least just
a hodge-podge of the previous
ones :smile_cat:

The Harvest Moon high above glows bright
As All Hallow's Even goes on tonight,
Symphony of macabre horror
Will last as long as the moon is there,
The witches flying across the sky
Let out some scores of laughter above,
The night is young, and it has begun;
Hallowe'en haunting, trick-or-treating,
Black cats with stardust eyes come around,
Singing their cat-song with hallowed meows
With intent to scare the ghosts they've seen
Through their eyes that were wide and glowing,
'Tis the time when the rift is weakest,
Susceptible are those that meddle
The arts of old, which were kept alive
By traditions and stories untold,
The Harvest Moon sings its final tune,
Hallowe'en night draws near to its end,
Its death nigh, sung by Milady Death,
And the final chapter begins now,
The howls of restless spirits are heard,
Injustice to Rosemary, Bella,
And even The Feaster From Afar—
They will all be acknowledge by then,
Tales both old and new come to visit,
From Bloody Mary to Little Ann,
Of The Beast, the ancient bones, to the
Lamppost as said by the Autumn Child,
This haunting world is quite picturesque,
And although they've yet to know their place,
The Vampyre and Goatman will frolic
Around the old will-o'-the-wisp trail,
The Harvest Moon knows the time has come,
For the shadows and gods to confess
And say their goodbyes to the darkness
That comforted and sheltered them true,
Christmas time will come in but a flash,
The dahlias and portraits will soon wane,
Be left to wither by winter time,
Where they'll be forgotten for a while,
And the madness of a dark new world
Be replaced with holiday folly,
It's time for Hallowe'en to end now,
But shall return the following year,
But for now, it's a goodbye, dear folks,
See you next time at Autumn's doorstep!
