                   The oldest daughter

                   holds the pain,

                   Her family's struggles

                   and all their strain.

                   She saw the sacrifices,

                   The cries, the fights,

                   Everything done for her,

                   Engraved in her name.

                   She only looks ahead,

                    Her head held high,

                   As she walks the path

                   In shades of grey.

                   Her burden is a heavy one,

                   It swallows her whole,

                   As she carries on her back

                   The dreams of the unborn.

                   Her spirit strong,

                   Her heart a fire,
