When I started to read, it was like I discovered a new world. I didn't know how it felt to belong somewhere, to have a place just for me and my heart. It was a strange feeling when all those words started to create a picture in my mind, a sanctuary where I could exist.

I've traveled a lot and saw different countries and their culture. It was a big surprise to me when I found that I could travel from our times to The Elizabethan Age or even to the future. It was magnificent to see diverse Worlds, where people could control fire, or visit loops and fight with the hollows.

All the people that I've met there taught me about myself and how to be a better person. They never critiqued me or my hobbies. I never had to fake my smile when I was around them. They were all my friends who never let me down.

I've fallen in love so many times that I can't even all my sleepless nights. Sexy guys with tricky smiles, gentlemen and warriors, kings and thieves. Why should I wait for a shiny prince on a white horse when I can have a 1500 years old vampire with good manners? Why wait for the right person when I can have Xerxes, the King of the Persian Empire?

Through books, I discovered what life means, how I can't wait for other people to make a change for me. I understood that without sadness, I can't find true happiness, that maybe I need to be my own Prince. I don't need to be saved by anyone but myself.

And the same goes for You, my dear reader. You lost yourself in books, forgetting that your life is out there. Maybe you're happier in your own world, but in one day you'll have to come back and when You do, You won't be alone.

You just have to see that.
