Literary Summer Bucket List

Hello again! This wonderful peep and I

decided to work together to bring you our Summer Bucket Lists.

Ryn’s List

• Reread my favorite Robin Hobb trilogy: Assassin’s Apprentice, Royal Assassin, Assassin’s Quest.

• Finish writing at least one backstory each for my oc’s that don’t have one.

• Put together a formal outline for my ‘never actually going to be a novel’ story.

• Read a novel from outside my typical genres.

• Finish reading the other three books in the Inheritance Cycle, because Eragon was wonderful and I have them already..

• If I could travel to an actual literary location, I think my first choice would be rural Scotland. It was the setting for a book I recently finished-

The Bookshop on the Corner, by Jenny Colgan. Which I found adorable.

Though, spoiler alert.. there is no physical bookshop on a corner.. is sad.

Zephyr’s List

• Finish reading the Hell’s Library trilogy by A.J Hackwith

• Read Song of Achilles

• Try to read more classics the current ones on my radar are Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, and The picture of Dorian Gray

• Wait and squeal in happiness when heartstopper arrives on Netflix

• Read The Whispering Door by T.J Klune when it is finally released

• Break my heart into more pieces than possible after reading How To Make Friends With The Dark

• Try to find an online version of The Glasshouse Of Stars. I swear to clouds this book is literally non existent everywhere

• Die waiting for the release of Light From Uncommon Stars. I’m just gonna go crash somewhere when this is finally released because I already love it a lot

• Write the twenty thousand book reviews I have been stalling forever and posting them :D

• Trying to be better at art, although like my artistic sense is non existent

• Widen my range of music a little by stealing all the songs other fantastic people listen to

• Finding The Shop Before Life online. Like really, this book is like a ghost. No matter how hard I try there is no single sign of it anywhere and it’s breaking my heart in more ways than possible

• Try to read more poetry books. I read Rupi Kaur accidentally and no offense but I’m legit scarred :D but okay I may try others before completely banning the genre

• Try to read at least one horror book. I just don’t read horror because I’m a scaredy cat but if I can I would love to

• Read more thriller and mystery novels because I have only read a handful by Sidney Sheldon, but damn when I do read them I get completely absorbed and lost.
