"What is the first book I reading?" is not an easily answered question.
You see, far before I could read myself, my mother read to me. I won't be able to recall the first, but my favorite was called "Doggies" by Sandra Boynton.

And you'd better believe that I can still how she pronounced every word. I don't know if this is common or not, but I often read books in my mother's voice.

I'm pretty sure this book is one of the things that contributed to my obsession with dogs.
Now on to a book I actually read myself, I know that one very well, I vividly the first time I read it, so many times ago. Mom was teaching me how to read a book from a learning series called "Fun tales"

The first book was called "Pam" and it went like this: "Pam. Bat. Pam bats. Bam!" Pretty simple, right? Well, it still took me a good 5 minutes to sound out the words, but I did it.
Now some of you might argue that it's not a real book, and I'll have to agree, but now let me show you the first book I not only owned, but read regularly. It was called "Cloudy with a chance of meatballs" written by Judi Barret and drawn by Ron Barrett.

It's a lovely story about a grandfather telling a bedtime story to his grandchildren. I got it for my first birthday, 18 years ago, making it the oldest thing I own.
Well, that's all. Thank you for reading!
