Hello everyone, I hope you are all well always. Today I am kind of confused about something.

I'm lost about the story I recently started writing, should I finish it or not?

I'm not a trustless person, but I'm a person whose ideas change every minute, so the story's events may start to change.

I have several events that I will add to this novel if I decide to complete it.

So give me your opinion without criticism, and even if it is, let it be respectful. Should I complete the novel or not? Should I add improvements? Are there any gaps in it?

Just tell me what you think.

Ah, yes. These posts are my favourites.

Honestly speaking, I had the same question countless times when writing my book. I constantly doubted the story, but after I finished it, I was glad that I finished it. My first draft needed a bunch of improvement, and I did improve it. Revising the novel really boosted the quality, too. I would say that revision is absolutely necessary for a serious writer

Even if you are writing a bad story, I'd say it's better to finish it than to abandon it. With each story you finish, you will improve. How are you going to improve if you never finish a story? I think finishing a long project is a very important feat to complete.

It's fine if your ideas change. I had planned my novel out pretty well, but even then, a bunch of things in it changed even during writing, and especially during the revision. It's not an issue if it changes, you just have to make sure every part of the story is consistent

I took a look at the chapter, and I'll say it has good promise. There are some rough edges, but I know you will see them when you start revising

Consistency is important for any plot or story, so just make sure your new ideas line up with the world you're building. Keep the story on a solid course or else the entire project will fall flate.
