This week's updates bring a mix of new and returning anime, along with fresh manga announcements. Is the Order a Rabbit? is getting a new anime, while Yūsha Party o Oidasareta Kiyō Binbō, I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day, Giant Ojō-sama, Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun, and Suikoden II have all been confirmed for anime adaptations. Additionally, Starwing Paradox will receive a prequel anime film. On the manga side, two new titles, Yome ga Kuru! and Giniro no Michi, have been announced.

New Is the order a rabbit? Anime

The "Is the order a rabbit? Rabbit House Talk Party 2025" event announced that production on a new Is the order a rabbit? anime has been green-lit.

The first season of the anime premiered in April 2014, and the second season premiered in October 2015. The third season premiered in October 2020. Koi launched the original manga in 2011.

Yūsha Party o Oidasareta Kiyō Binbō gets Anime

Bandai Namco Filmworks announced that storywriter Itsuki Togami and illustrator Yuri Kisaragi's Yūsha Party o Oidasareta Kiyō Binbō (The Jack of All Trades Was Kicked Out of the Hero's Party) light novel series is getting a television anime adaptation. Bandai Namco Filmworks also revealed the main cast and staff, a teaser visual, a teaser video, and celebration illustrations.

The fantasy story centers on Orun, a swordsman who changed to a mage class for the sake of the "Hero's Party" that he belonged to. He even developed a unique style of magic to the party. But Oliver, Orun's childhood friend and the leader of the party, kicked Orun out of the party due to a lack of ability. His party mocked him for being a "jack of all trades but master of none" and the party already found his successor. Disappointed, he parts ways with the party and begins solo activities as an explorer. Orun's fate changes dramatically with new encounters, and in order to protect those who have become important to him, he aims to take his "jack of all trades" skills to become the "ultimate all-rounder."

Hiroyuki Kanbe is directing the anime at "animation studio42." Masashi Suzuki is overseeing the series scripts and Naoto Nakamura is deg the characters.

I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day gets Anime

Kadokawa announced that a television anime adaptation of Nachi Aono's I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day manga has been green-lit. Here is a pilot film for the anime.

Kodansha describes the story:

   At the mysterious orphanage where Sheena lives, death is nothing new to its residents—girls who no longer have families of their own, who are raised as weapons of war, taught to kill and take the lives of others without batting an eye. Everyone, that is, except Sheena, who wishes for nothing more than the growing conflict around her to end. On the night of her roommate's death, Sheena meets a strange girl covered in blood, who smiles despite the turmoil surrounding them. The next day, the girl appears as a new student in Sheena's class and introduces herself as Mimi. Initially thought to be a school myth, there are now whispers in the orphanage's halls that Mimi is their secret weapon—an immortal who cannot die. When Mimi is later assigned as Sheena's new roommate, Sheena's world grows even more complicated when she begins living with someone who loves and welcomes death, when all Sheena wants to do is stop it…

Takudai Kakuchi is directing the anime at ROLL2 with assistant director Yasushi Tomoda, and Jukki Hanada is supervising and writing the series scripts. Kyoko Yufu designs the characters. Yukari Hashimoto composes the music. Infinite is producing with EVOLROAR on product .

Giant Ojō-sama gets Anime

Shogakukan announced that Nikumura Q's Giant Ojō-sama (Giant Young Lady) manga is inspiring a television anime from Tatsunoko Production.

The story centers around Oriko Fujidō, the scion of an ultra-wealthy family who finds herself growing to gigantic proportions. She had received an entire town as a present on her fourth birthday, but one day, a giant invader attacks her town. Her butler Sebastian offers her a drink that transforms her into a giant, so she strives to protect her town — but just might end up destroying it, throwing the denizens' lives into chaos.

Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun gets Anime

Kodansha announced that Takuya Shinjō's Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun (Don't Touch Me Kotesashi) is inspiring a television anime that will premiere this year. Shinjō drew the below illustration to celebrate the anime's announcement.

The manga centers on Kōyō Kotesashi, a boy who aims to become a sports doctor. He becomes a massage specialist in Seiha University High School, a school known for its powerhouse sports teams. There, he provides massage services to unique athlete girls.

Suikoden II gets Anime

Konami announced during the "Gensō Suikoden Live 2025.3.4" livestream an anime adaptation of the Suikoden II game's story, a new mobile game Gensō Suikoden: Star Leap for the iOS and Android, a stage play adaptation of Suikoden I, a new concert, and a new trailer for Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars.

Yūzō Satō is directing the anime at KONAMI animation, the game studio's anime studio. NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan anime and music production department member Ryō Hino serves as the producer and production manager.

Starwing Paradox gets Prequel Anime Film

Square Enix and Sunrise announced that they are producing a feature-length theatrical prequel anime to Square Enix's Starwing Paradox game titled As One, which will open in Japan this summer. Kobun Shizuno is directing the film. As with the game, Yoshiyuki Sadamoto is deg the characters for the film.

The film will feature a completely original story set 20 years before the game's story. The film's protagonist is Yō, a high schooler whose parents oppose his dreams of being a musician, and who is also beginning to lose his connection to his bandmates. One day, he hears a voice in his head crying out for help, and he is enveloped in a bright light. Elsewhere, in a world named Meguriboshi, two countries who have long been at war in search for energy sources begin an uneasy truce. Rako, a robot mechanic, falls unconscious while dealing with a large piece of space debris approaching the planet, and while unconscious, makes with Yō.

New Manga Yome ga Kuru!

The March issue of Shueisha's Grand Jump Mucha magazine announced that Yasunori Mitsunaga and saku will launch a new manga titled Yome ga Kuru! (My Wife is Coming!) in the magazine's next issue on April 23. Mitsunaga is credited for the story, and saku is drawing the manga.

The science-fiction romantic comedy manga (left in image above) centers on Yukito Takiguchi, an unpopular science college student, who has developed the ultimate matching system. A woman who claims to be his future wife then appears before him.

New Manga Giniro no Michi

This year's 13th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine revealed that Yoshikazu Yasuhiko will launch a new manga titled Giniro no Michi -Handa-yama Ibun- (Silver Road -Strange Stories of the Handa Silver Mine-) in the magazine's next issue on March 6. The manga will be a short-term series that will run every two weeks. The manga is Yasuhiko's first series in the magazine.

The manga tells the story and unknown side of Godai Tomoatsu, Japan's leading entrepreneur of the early Meiji period, and how he overcomes friction, misunderstandings, and other challenges to pave the way to the recovery of the Handa Silver Mine, one of Japan's three major mines in the Edo period.
