As people around the world are encouraged to stay at home if possible in order to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), BTS’s V shared his own #StayAtHomeChallenge video!

The video shows V dancing and singing to a performance playing on television, and he wrote in the caption, “Everyone, if you’re bored, have a conversation with your TV~ #StayAtHomeChallenge.” The performance he’s enjoying is PostmodernJukebox’s “Retro ’50s Prom Style Chainsmoker/Halsey Cover ft. Kenton Chen.”

The tweet begins, “BTS’s V’s #StayAtHomeChallenge!” with a purple heart, which is often used by BTS and their fans ARMY. It continues, “Everyone, how are you enjoying the StayAtHome life? The Ministry of Culture and Sports is ing your wise StayAtHome cultural life with a lot of different content.” It then linked to the Ministry’s website.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, BTS had to cancel their planned April concerts in Seoul as well as postpone their North American world tour dates. The group recently took part in James Corden’s “HomeFest” special, which featured global stars performing remotely and also encouraged viewers to follow CDC and governmental guidelines about the pandemic and donate to organizations in need.

BTS‘s V doesn’t just tell ARMY he purples then; he shows it through actions.

Right now, with COVID-19 cases still on the rise, the world is at a standstill to flatten the curve. Social distancing is in effect, and everyone is strongly advised to stay at home as much as possible.

Recently, V has been logging into Weverse more frequently to invite at-home ARMYs to play online games with him. This plan, however, has not gone accordingly.

Rather than playing games from home, V realized that people have been going out to internet cafes instead. When he came up with his ‘stay in and game with me’ plan, V didn’t imagine this as a possibility. He is now asking fans to protect themselves from COVID-19 by staying home.

Staying inside all day can be a difficult lifestyle change, but ARMY can show V how much they purple him back by putting their health first.

Jungkook frequently trends on Twitter

BTS fans know that Jungkook is a literal trendsetter on Twitter. The new selfie is not the first time Jungkook has inspired Twitter trends, and it won’t be the last.

In August 2019, Jungkook posted on Weverse while BTS was on vacation. He posted after 3 a.m. KST and wrote multiple posts about playing Overwatch and eating rameyeon. After he posted, Weverse crashed, and then “Weverse” subsequently trended on Twitter.

In the selfie, Jungkook looks at the camera while riding in the backseat of a car. After Jungkook posted on Weverse, BTS fans posted about their excitement on Twitter. It was Jungkook’s first post on Weverse in a couple of weeks, but the selfie was clearly worth the wait.

"JUNGKOOK CAME HOME AND NO ONE TOLD ME ?!???? YALL ARE TRAITORS,” a Twitter  wrote.

“can we pause for a sec and that wow jungkook is real ?!. he’s real. like he’s out there looking like that and behaving like that .. insane,” a fan tweeted about the selfie.

“JUNGKOOK HAS FINALLY BLESSED US WITH HIS PRESENCE HE CAME HOME. IM SO HAPPY THAT IM FEELING WELL NOW. And yes this is JUNGKOOK SELCA,” wrote a fan on Twitter.

The BTS singer is still in a car

When Jungkook posts selfies on Twitter and Weverse, he frequently posts them while riding in cars. An ongoing joke in the fandom is that he is stuck in the car for one continuous car ride. That joke continued with BTS fans when Jungkook posted on Weverse.

“JUNGKOOK CAME HOME HE CAME HOME HES STILL ON THE WAY IN HIS CAR BUT HE’S HOME,” a fan tweeted.

“everyone’s like he came home!!! but jk is clearly still in a car,” wrote a fan on Twitter.

Some fans still can’t believe Jungkook and ARMY’s power

Even though Jungkook frequently trends on Twitter and has even crashed Weverse before, some ARMY still marvel at the power Jungkook has over the fandom. With this new selfie, not only did the singer’s name and “JUNGKOOK POSTED” trend, fans also trended “HE CAME HOME” because so many people were tweeting about Jungkook’s selfie on Weverse.

Big Hit Entertainment (BTS) and BELIFT LAB (BELIFT) will recruit producers to the new boy group in 2020.

BELIFT recently announced on its official website that it will select a producer with unlimited potential to lead the next global music market through the “Next New Creator With BELIFT” audition, which runs from April 7 to May 1.

You can submit a demo for BELIFT’s boy group by accepting online applications from its official website. According to the notice, the recruiting field is a producer who will be in charge of the new album work of the new boy band, which will debut on BELIFT, and individual or team can apply. Anyone aged 14 or older can challenge regardless of gender, nationality, academic background, or experience.

The final winner will be given 5 million won in prize money, and details can be found on the audition’s official website. Qualification will be conducted by an internal review and the final winner or team will be selected after individual finals for those who the qualification.

BELIFT is a t venture between Big Hit and CJ ENM, which was launched to produce idol groups targeting the global market together. The boy group, composed of multinational boys, held auditions in 17 domestic and foreign cities from March to July last year, with plans to introduce the boy group within the year.

Since 2016, Big Hit has been discovering new producers through the “NEXT NEW CREATOR” project every year to them to display their musical capabilities and provide various opportunities.
