A lot of people struggle in school because of their sexual or gender identity. Some are misunderstood or even get bullied for it. And that's where a school GSA can help!

《But what exactly is a School GSA?》
GSA means gay-straight alliance, or is also known as gender-sexuality alliance. It's a student- run school club found mostly in middle schools and high schools as well as colleges and universities. They are known mostly in the United States and Canada. A GSA club provides a safe and ive environment for the LGBTQ+ Youth and allies of the community!
They can help educate teachers and other students in order to improve the schools climate and stop the bullying of students for being LGBTQ+. Some GSA clubs even fight for stronger enforcement of non-discrimination laws.

《How to create one in your school》
If your school doesn't have a GSA club and you're interested in creating one yourself, then here's some ideas on how to start one yourself:
☆Follow Guidelines☆
Make sure to inform yourself about how to start a club in your own school and follow those steps! You might need to get permission from and or write a constitution.
☆Find an Advisor☆
Try finding a teacher or other staff member from your school that would you and the of your club.
☆Inform the istration☆
Telling the istration about what you are doing can help you with talking to teachers, parents and the community. If the istration is resistent to the GSA, tell them that forming a GSA club is legally protected.
☆Inform Guidance Counselors☆
They might know some students that would be interested in ing the group.
☆Pick a meeting place☆
Find a spot that can be easy to find for everyone, such as your advisors classroom. Put up lots of posters to help people find you! Make them colourful!
☆☆
To get to your club, you'll need to ! Make an announcement on your school bulletin board, create flyers, post about it on social media and talk to people about it personally! Food is also a great way of getting people to :)
☆First Meeting☆
The first meeting of your club is important. Your will most likely decide if they will stay in the club or not after the first meeting. It's best to start off with a discussion about what the would like to do in the club, how it would make a change in the school and so on. Also ask everyones names and pronouns and get to know your better!
☆Ground rules☆
Having rules that all of the club must follow can help ensure that group discussions are safe and respectful. Many GSA clubs have a ground rule, that no assumptions or labels are used about a member's sexual/gender identity.

《Club activities》
To entertain your club , you need some fun activities that you can do together!
I collected some ideas here but of course there's still so much more you can do with your club then only those things in this list.
Some ideas for activities are:
□ Host a "Bring a friend day"
~
■ Take a self defense class as a club
~
□ Visit another GSA club
~
■ Host an LGBTQ+ movie or a Board game night
~
□ Plan a dinner or a BBQ together
~
■ Raise money for a charity together, you could sell rainbow cupcakes for example
~
□ Read an LGBTQ+ Book together and discuss it
~
■ Build a website or social media page for your club
~
□ Host a poetry/performance/drag show night
~
■ Go to Pride with your club
~
□ Participate in charity walks

There's lots of things you can have a positive effect on if you work together with your club. Even if it's not a worldwide movement, you can still help and those around you and create a better future for others.
Most of the information that were used for this post were taken from gsanetwork.org
There you can find more information about GSA clubs in the United States and even your own club.

Our school doesn't have a GSA, I wish it did though, but it's a faith school, WAIT, OUR HEASTER IS GAY, WHY ISN'T ONE CREATED YET?? XD (I hope that didn't sound overdramatic) Great post, you are an amazing writer, keep it up!

And thank you very much  I'm glad you liked it!
I used to be part of my school's GSA but they loved making fun of conservatives in it and as I am a conservative myself I left for discrimination reasons.
